Happy Thursday!
Welcome to the second month of my year long class, Celebrate the Seasons. On the 5th of each month I will be bringing you ideas for scrappbing those season specific photos. Click HERE to see this month's layout, sketch, handout and video.
The "assignment" this month is to create a Valentine's or Love themed layout.
The layout can be one or two pages, you are not required to use the sketch and it can be traditional or digital or a combination of the two!
By participating you will earn a class badge and the badge will also include a tally of how many times you've participated in my class. At the end of each month, I will randomly pick one winner to receive a prize! And we all love 2Peas prizes, right?!!? So, let's earn some badges! And don't forget to check the challenge box when uploading your project to the gallery to be entered into the monthly drawing.

A question...can it be anniversary related? I was actually just thinking of doing a layout about our 12th that is this Sunday and wondering if it would fit?

Yea!! I've been anxiously awaiting this month's sketch! However, I was inspired to create a few Valentine's/love LO's today and have submitted them. Can't wait to try my hand at the sketch! Thanks again for all your time and inspiration!

I just read through the entire message board. Three questions: 1)Do we need to follow this message board to get each month's lesson? 2)Is this also the place where you'll announce each month's winner of the drawing? 3)Do we need to post a thread here to our layout or is marking the box good enough? (My layouts are in the right place for the class but not here on the board cuz I have trouble with threads.) Thanks, again, for the class. I found the Feb. layout through the message board and love it! Can't wait to create mine. |

Three questions: 1)Do we need to follow this message board to get each month's lesson?
You do not have to follow the message board for the lesson if you don't want to. I will post a link here on the 5th of each month but you can also find the new sketch, layout, PDF download and video by going to the Designer Garden on the 5th by clicking "View By Latest". The new layout will show up there. You can also find all of the lessons under the Education tab. Hope this helps!
2)Is this also the place where you'll announce each month's winner of the drawing?
I will be posting the winners here on this board each month. I have randomly chosen last month's winner and just waiting to hear if I have the "go ahead" to announce it. Hopefully that will be sometime today!

Gals who are having badge issues:
will you please peamail me and let me know if you have not gotten your badge or if your badge count is wrong? (please make sure you check that the correct box was checked when you uploaded your layout). If you've done everything correctly and it's not showing up I want to know so I can pass that info along so we can get it fixed.

Ok I managed to get this done on time this month! I am so loving these classes - very inspriing Nichol. Thanks so much. As we don't really make a big deal about Valentine's day in my house, I chose to do a LO about Homework. Don't laugh! My kids are just settling into a new school year and the re-commencement of homework is a major topic in our house in February!

I have a silly question, well i am a month late but would love to join in on all the fun. BUT i dont usally do layouts, i am more of the little them chipboard type books, so can i just stick to the them, and do a little book. I am not sure why but i am layout challenged.
I am thinking of going back and doing last months also i have some great ice storm pictures. | |

I posted mine i still have 2 pages to finish but i have been battel a possible gallbladder issue and did not get the puppies out to my in-laws property to get some pics of them swimming and romping around.
