Hello, peas!

Wow, is anyone else suffering from Valentine's Day/President's Day Weekend overload!? I completely forgot that our classes started this morning! AHH! Please forgive my forgetfullness... Hopefully the class will make up for it.

You'll find this month's class here. Feel free to look around, watch the video, and jump in there to create some cards of your own. As usual, for each individual gallery upload that you link up to this class, you'll receive a badge (or the additional counts under the badge). AND you'll be entered into a drawing to win a prize as well!

Happy crafting!

Kristina

OK, I've been dying to ask this: what font is it that you used on the words "two peas in a bucket monthly class" at the top of page one of the PDF. It's lovely.

Off to play!

I've finished my first card. I decided to make an oval card rather than a circle. You can see it posted here. Thanks for the class and thanks for checking out my card! I'll be trying the other designs soon.

Happy inking,

Question for everyone - how do you give a circle card? Do you just give as is or do you find a square envelope big enough to give it in?

love this months designs - can't wait to get started!

Hooptee, for my circle cards, I found some square envelopes that fit. I just bought them from an online envelope store. Or, you can make your own!

Hope that helps!

I'm new to the world of papercrafting and have been looking at the gallery here for the past few months to get inspiration for my scrapbook pages. Today, I decided to branch out a little and came across this class, and I am so happy I did. I've always bought blank cards since store bought ones don't always say what I want to say, but now I can learn to jazz them up a little and maybe even make my own. I can't wait to get home and start working on this challenge.

Kristina, thanks for sharing your talent with us.

Hello ladies!

I'm a newbie around here, but anxious to jump in and get going. I made a circle card for this class and posted it, but I don't know how to put a link in a message board post. Can anyone give me some directions on doing that?

Thanks!
Devon

I finally made my first card! I'm very proud of myself. I started with a blank card from a box of cards and ended up with something I really like. Just hoping the recipient likes it half as much. It's based on one of the January sketches and is available for viewing here

What size circle punch did y'all use? I don't have one, so I may have to use my Cricut to cut out circles.

I used my CM cutting system to make the card base and the insides, the scalloped circle is a Sizzix die. I know I thought about using my slice for the card or the scallops, but the sizzix and my CM cutting system was out!

I used the smallest CM circle punch I have for the small circles that make up the scallop. I used my Cricut to cut the two cardstock base circles set at 6 inches. I did the pattern paper circle on the outside with my Cricut also, I think at 4.5. The thing I was so happy about was that my circle card will fit in an A2 envelope.

I finally tackled the circle card and I'm pretty pleased with the results.
I cut out a circle and used corner rounder punch to create the scalloped border.

Great sketches! I've made a few to add to my card stash, they're going to come in handy and it will be so nice to be able to just open the box and pick one out when I need it. I've only scanned two because the other ones I've made are very similar.

Wow! All of your cards look amazing!

map91, you can join whenever you'd like. You have until March 14th at midnight to upload your card for February's class. Just be sure to select this class as you fill out information about your card so that it's linked to the class page and everyone can see what you've created!
