Hello all!
It's a bit after midnight (TwoPeas time) on the 15th, so it's time for another Year in Cards class! I hope you all love ribbon as much as I do, because you'll be using it quite a bit for the cards this month. Have fun!
You can see this month's class (and video) by clicking here.
And be sure to upload your cards to the TwoPeas gallery to be included in a drawing for a prize. Just select this class as your uploading and it will automatically be linked up with the class page and everyone will be able to see your creation when they scroll down on the page.
You have until April 14th at 11:59 PM to upload your card.
Thanks for all your participation, guys! I'm sure you're all working up quite the arsenal of cards by now.

Once the new class is posted, we are unable to link our cards to the February class, is this correct?

Hi Kristina,
I love your classes. Great work!
I have a question about the card in the video.
What do you do with the end of de ribbon and the staple-ends at the other side of the cardfront?

My favorite is the braided ribbon one. I can't wait to make some. I have so much ribbon that I never use. This will be a great way to inspire me to start using it again.
Thanks for all your wonderful inspirations. This has been so much fun.

Danielle, I just folded them behind the card and stapled it. It's okay to have the ribbon and staples showing on the inside.

Kristina...Thank you so much for your year in cards class! It really gets the creative juices flowing. I'm always looking for new ways to use my scraps of ribbon and now I have come up with some thanks to you! I can't wait to see what you have for us next month!
ps...I have a great way to display/store all those cards everyone is making - use a flip photo frame. You can see what I mean if you look at my posts, I have a photo of what mine looks like. I love it because it keeps all of my cards neat, clean and safe from bends and rips. It also makes it quick and easy to find what you are looking for.

I finally got to work on some, it's been crazy around here it seems!
For some reason, my stapler was against me using it so I used floss to adhere the gathered ribbon on this friend card and I think it turned out great!
And here's my other one, Thanks.
Thanks Kristina, for the wonderful inspiration! |

Hi Krisina and all you peas out there!! I have to say that I loved this set of cards so much! I went scouring thru all my stuff to find papers close to this and was just not happy with anything I had. Well to my luck my Local Scrap store was holding a "spring Fling" that weekend, with tons of make a takes and had all of their new products for the season out. Right there on one of the tables was the "All Fall" 6x6 pad of paper and the buttons!! I almost squealed!! They did not have the 12x12 papers but that is okay since I am really at this point strictly a card maker and am finding that getting the pads of paper in my favorited patterns works out alot better and are easier to store and find what I'm looking for! One thing I am really wanting is the cardstock cards and embellishment kit in this series, and am happy to see them here. These classes are such a fabulous inspiration and really a perfect jumping off point as far as picking out paper series that I just adore! Once I see something I like you have EVERYTHING I could possible want to go with it right underneath it, with wonderful ideas and projects from all the other members and garden girls! Anyway, thanks Kristina and Two Peas, can't wait for a new class in just ONE day!! | |

I always struggle with cards and I have a bit of a hoarding thing going on with ribbon, so this month the class helped me out on two counts, thanks!
Ribbon cards
I loved creating the frame with the velvet ribbon, perhaps because it wasn't as fiddly to do as the other two techniques! |
