Good morning scrappers!

I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing another month of Celebrate the Seasons with you.

On the 5th of each month I will be bringing you ideas for scrapbooking those season specific photos. Click HERE to see this month's layout, sketch, handout and video.

The challenge this month is to use a die cut on your layout (it can be pre-made or created with one of the many die cut machines available). I used the Silhouette, Revolution and Sizzix machines for my layout. If you are creating your layout digitally, I want to see your creative use of die cut digital elements.

Your layout can be one or two pages, you are not required to use the sketch and it can be traditional or digital or a combination of the two!

By participating you will earn a class badge and the badge will also include a tally of how many times you've participated in my class. At the end of each month, I will randomly pick one winner to receive a prize! And we all love 2Peas prizes, right?!!? So, let's earn some badges! And don't forget to check the challenge box when uploading your project to the gallery to be entered into the monthly drawing.

I can't wait to see the fun, creative layouts you create this month!

You mentioned that you printed out some of the photos as a collage. Did you use a version of photoshop or picassa? Something else? Where do you find your collage templates? New to trying it digitally and printing photos at home but am also struggling my way through the photoshop class and trying to figure it all out during the kids' nap time...any info from your perspective would be great. Thanks!

I do all my photo editing in Photoshop (I use the CS4 version). I don't use collage templates, I just make my own background layer to the size I want and then resize my photos and drag and drop them in. If there is interest in seeing how I create photo collages I can work on a video or some sort of step-by-step tutorial.

Thank you so much for this class! It is amazing. I love how you told us Digital Scrappers something we should incorporate in our layout. I tried to do that as much as possible. Check it out.

Loved the sketch for April...but I just did the one for Feb. I have to admitt that your style is alot different from mine. I like simple pages...and it was a ton of work to put this 2pg lo together.

But I am impressed with the end result. I usually take about 15-30 mins to put a page together and this took a lot longer.

I am so glad I found this challenge. I enjoyed watching your video. I completed a layout using the right side of your layout design.

Easter fun

I also went back and did a layout for March. Hope to catch up with the other months as well.

I combined mine with the Stamp Camp (use a background stamp) and Weekly Challenge (pop dot it). It's *mostly* completed. Thinking of swapping out the 2 top photos on the right page (hence no sewing yet -heehee), changing the "grass" pp so it's not busy. Also, thinking of adding "2gether" on the upper right in brown above the tree. What do you guys think? Oh! And I still need to add the journaling. lol

Well, here it is... 8 miles 2gether

Thanks for an awesome class, Nichol!

Just wanted to see if altered items were okay for this challenge? If not I have no problem unchecking the challenge box. I hope to get a layout done this month too, but we'll see. Thanks for the great ideas!
