Hi!
I hope you've all been following along with the lessons and practicing lots and lots!
I'm sorry I haven't checked in for quite awhile but I'm back home and going to stay put for the month of May so I'm excited about checking out the gallery for the past month to see what you've been creating!

This month's lesson is on Adobe's templates and artwork in PSE.

If you're just now joining in the classes - WELCOME!

You might want to check out the previous lessons that cover many of the basics of using PSE to create layouts and cards.

Lesson #8
Lesson #7
Lesson #6
Lesson #5
Lesson #4
Lesson #3
Lesson #2
Lesson #1

Once you finish watching a lesson- it's time to do your homework! That means designing a layout or digi card and posting it in the gallery so we can all cheer on your success! Make sure when you upload your layout that you check the PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS CLASS so that it gets grouped with all the class layouts!

Also, you can find lots of FREE DIGI KITS here at 2 Peas.

AND our store is loaded with TONS of cool kits!

If you have any questions you can post them here on the board and I'll check back often and try and answer them.

Happy Scrapping!

looks great! thanks for all your hard work and I hope you had a great mother's day! looking forward to playing with PSE this month....still working on last month's class. Question: does the picture you want to use the quick selection tool or the magic wand extractor on make a big difference? I don't have the steadiest hands (d/t my m.s.) and could not, for the life of me, extract my son with bunny ears from the picture! it's not a big deal...I just wondered. I haven't tried any other pics so I will! thanks!

Kelly - if you zoom in on the bunny ears when you're extracting them it will make it easier.

Ok I played along. i went into the CREATE and used a card template, but I'm not too thrilled with the premade templates (prefer to make my own) so I transferred the card back to EDIT mode and made it into a layout. But it was interesting to see what was there...didn't even know that stuff existed. I'll have to explore options later...the preloaded papers lend themselves to some interesting layout options so I'll be back. Thanks Sande for all your tutorials. I've learned tons. wild boys at wild waves

Okay, so I tried the templates & a background - glad I had already learned how to adjust the hue of the background on one of the previous lessons! (Why would anyone make a football field bluish-green?)Got a little frustrated - maybe because I have an earlier version of PSE - but here it is: The Saint

Thanks for another fabulous lesson Sande - like so many other I have learned so much by watching your lessons.

This is my attempt at this month's challenge: snow

Sande - I don't know if you have plans to cover it in a later lesson, but I would love to know how to do drop shadows.

Two things that you've asked for are coming in the next lesson or two. We'll cover drop shadows and how to make a sticker out of word art or a brush. So stay tuned!

Thank you for this great class. I played with the card template and created a birthday invite for my daughter who is turning 4. It's fun to keep learning new things and applying them as we go. Thanks again!!

Here is my card: Grace is turning 4

Is anyone having problems viewing lesson 6? I've let it load and I can't get past the first few seconds and I get a black screen. Help? I'm really learning quite a lot from these and would like to see all of the lessons.

Hi STephi -
Have you been able to get it to work?
If not, please PeaMail me and I'll forward it onto tech support.

Thanks!

Sande, I was able to get it to work tonight so it must have been my computer being glitchy. Thank you, I'm really enjoying these tutorials.
