Normally I'm a big MM fan but I do not like how they are handling this release. M's get the products now but independent store won't get it till the fall?!?!
That is a horrible way to treat your independent retailers. By the time the product hits them it will considered old to some and might not move. |

Took a closer look at the papers, and the postcards paper is almost exactly like their postcard paper from their "passport" line. |

I'm not in love...it reminds me of several etsy designers. I love etsy but when I want things like that I would much rather go there and support the WAHM's who sell there. |

I like the shaped cardstock, tickets, & labels. Hope area Michaels locations stock these items, since none of the not-so-LSSs carry MM anymore.

I saw it at my M's today, but I wasn't really that thrilled with it in person. I looked and looked but ended up only buying those flower-shaped pins for $1.99. The mini-kits are REALLY small, though they had some neat things in them. I guess I thought the line looked better in pictures than in real life... | |

It was at my M's today. Cute- I bought some straight pins and a mini kit of embellies for 3.99. I didn't see any paper though. I might have missed them as I was shopping with my 2 year old....UGH! |

Two M's here in town that I've been to over the weekend had all the Vintage Findings stuff out. I got the specialty paper pack, the embellishment paper pack, and 8x8 paper pad, one of the large kits, 3 of the small kits, the tickets, two packs of the vintage tags and the flower pins. I LOVE it ALL!!!
I was slightly disappointed in one of the items; the brown labels that very much resembled JB. They were tiny ...about the size of a postage stamp. I was ready to stock up on these. |

i saw these today at our M's and only bought two items (pins) because in looking at the kits there were many things in them that didn't appeal to me. I also thumbed through the paper and it looked like an older paper from 5 years ago...
I do like to see them going in this direction - vintage anything is hot hot hot right now and they are trying so yea for them

I LOVE this line!
I didn't know about it debuting at M's and then later in the fall at lss.
Snatched up almost everything since I had one 50% coupon, a 20% off coupon for entire purchase and a $50 gift card from a bride and groom for lettering their seating cards. Did have to pitch in $70  but I really like all the 'findings.'

I was just checking out the line on the MM site. I noticed that the way they show the paper is that it is double-sided. However I bought a 12x12 pad of paper from M's and it is all one-sided. I wonder if the paper that will come to the LSSs will be the 2-sided kind.

My M's had the whole display full of the vintage line. It is pretty cute but I think they brought back some of the Vintage Hip items from a few years ago. |

I saw this at my Ms Sunday. It was a very appealing display. But when I got closer, I found it all a bit overwhelming. I ended up passing on it. I think I may still want the mini-kit with the piece of sheet music in it though. I'm regretting not getting that one... |

The closest M's location received the entire display this week (after only having the paper packs & several empty pegs last week). I purchased only the tickets & received the shaped cardstock from a friend who dislikes shaped papers but purchased the pack for the specialty (foil, glitter, etc) sheets. I was disappointed in the mini size of the labels & several elements of the kits that appeared a complete rip-off of Jenni Bowlin's designs (e.g. Bingo cards, star journaling card). | |
