Good morning, all! Autumn is in the air--can you feel it?! It's time for some Halloween cards!

This month's A Year in Cards class is all about Halloween. You can see the class by clicking here: A Year in Cards - September 2009.

This month's homework: Create a Halloween card. Or, if you're not too big on Halloween, create a card based on one of the sketches included in the instructions. Upload your card to the TwoPeas gallery, select this class when you do, and you'll automatically be included in a drawing to win a TwoPeas store gift certificate!

You have until October 14th at 11:59 pm CT to upload your card and have it qualify for the drawing.

For reference, here are links to previous classes:
A Year in Cards - January 2009
A Year in Cards - February 2009
A Year in Cards - March 2009
A Year in Cards - April 2009
A Year in Cards - May 2009
A Year in Cards - June 2009
A Year in Cards - July 2009
A Year in Cards - August 2009
A Year in Cards - September 2009

Keep up the awesome work! I love seeing your cards each month!

Kristina

Kristina - you've outdone yourself with these! Adorable!! Can't wait to make 'em. I wish you would tell what brand that heat and stick pad is and what brand pop dots you use. I would love to know.

TracieClaiborne, are you asking about what pad I used for the embossing? I use VersaMark ink (here it is in the TwoPeas Store--sold out at the moment, but they're constantly re-stocking it). And I use Stampin' Up! Stampin' Dimesionals for the foam adhesive.

Hope that helps!

What is the heat and stick powder you use? I've been wondering about that.

Heat and Stick powder is a Stampin' Up product, I'm pretty sure.
You might be able to get a similar result if you have a glue pad.

Kristina - your videos are invaluable! There are so many "ah-hah" moments for me, like when you cut the slit in the card for the ribbon.

I can't wait to make these cards. I plan to make 4 for my daughters and nieces. I think I'll do the pumpkins for the 4 year old and two 6 years olds, and the ghost for my 9 year old.

Thanks!

Thank you for the PDF with the shapes for the Halloween cards. I had so much fun making these. I just uploaded them to the gallery.
I also uploaded my cards for August. A bit late but they gave me a lot of trouble. And I went on vacation so I had less time to make them.

So sorry about the upload issue! Hopefully they'll fix it soon. I'll let you know when it's up and you can select the class.

Thanks for letting me know, and sorry about the delay.

Good thing I checked this thread after trying to post my project...thought I was losing my mind when I could not find the appropriate box to check

BTW - Kristina I love the cards you put together...I missed out participating on the previous months, but I sure did save the PDFs to my computer to play later!

Thanks Kristina for the templates and this challenge. I had so much fun painting my pumpkins and decided to highlight them with markers instead of the stitches. Here's a link:

thanks for looking....

Got it, thanks. One more question, I see that on the class post there are pictures at the bottom, well how to I make mine visible down there? Do I need to post my link somewhere?

I think the class selection is working now. In fact, I think it started working yesterday... There are some cards that have been posted that have a 10/13 date.

Hopefully you all will have a chance to post your cards before the 11:59 pm deadline tonight.

crazedmom, when you upload your card, it gives you the option to select a challenge or class. Just select this class and then your card will appear at the bottom of the class page.

Hope that helps!

I see them. I assumed it was like the gallery that the new ones were added in front of what was already posted. Instead it's "to the back of the bus". Atleast I made deadline. Thanks again for the great cards Kristina. I don't get a chance to do them every month, but when I do I have fun with them. Keep up the good work.
