My son who is 9 is really having a hard time coming up with a Halloween costume. Any ideas for a 9 year old boy??? He really isn't into Star Wars or really scary costumes. Thanks!!

What about a pirate? Superhero? A mad doctor? A vampire? A king? A court jester? A ninja? A sailor? Robin Hood? Shrek? Tarzan? Elvis? A male Disney character, such as Hercules, Pinnochio, Gaston (from Beauty and the Beast), Peter Pan?

My son have been Luigi from Nintendo last year and again this year. In the past he as been a skeleton (not too scary), a pumpkin, the cat from Shrek.
One of my son's friends came up with his own costume - an injured basketball player - put some bandaids on in different spots, makeup to look like bruises and basketball shorts and shirt.
Hope he finds something!

check out familyfun.com They always have a big selection of cute ideas. He could be a box of popcorn, a washing machine, a Ipod. There was a cool looking mummy one on there. I have a 9 year old boy too. He doesn't know what he wants to be.

My 9 yr old is sticking tight with his plan to be an army guy. Last year he was Indiana Jones.

My 9yo son wants to be anything with a weapon. SIGH. We are such nonviolent people! He has been Star Wars things with a light saber, but last year was a gladiator. He LOVED being a gladiator.
I could convince him to be an Army Man with no problem at all.

Our ds8 has a wicked sense of humor, and he's going as Billy Mays with an OxyClean bucket for candy. This is the easiest costume to put together!
|Posted: 9/22/2009 12:40:40 PM|My 9 y/o son is going as "white trash" ever since he saw a mullet wig in the store. Wifebeater, cutoff jeans, etc. He can't wait. Last year he was a hippie in an Afro wig, peace sign necklace and my old Grateful Dead shirt.

My 9 year old wants to be Wolverine from the XMen. He's wearing jeans, a t-shirt, a leather jacket (we're trying to get an old one from Freecycle or the thrift store) and the claws that you can buy from the toy section. I'm going to paint big mutton chops on his face and paint his hair dark/style it like Wolverine.
I'm a Toilet Paper Pea. Are you?
