I have to say that I was REALLY happy with this issue! First of all, there were TONS of Fresh Face icons! It was so nice to see some new names and they really are great layouts, too!
Also, lots of usable ideas, too! I'm excited about this one! |

I agree. It was one of their best issues in a very long time. It seems as though they are trying to make themselves more appealing to us, the consumer. I love that they are showing so many multi-photo layouts. There were a ton of great ideas to make your own embellishments as well. I wish they would come out with a special edition magazine showcasing making your own embellishments. In this economy, ever little bit I can stretch from my hard-earned $$ helps!

I have enjoyed this one as well as the last one. I also liked SB Etc this time (I know a lot of people didn't). They seem to be moving more toward the way I scrap for myself, with multi-photo LO's and journaling and even using up some old product. |
I do not want people to be very agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them a great deal.

I liked it too but was it just me or was some of the copy blurry? I couldn't even read the intro to the festive techniques on page 59. I thought it was just me reading at night but nope next morning the page is still blurry. And I just want want to say I miss Jessica Sprague's section and all her layouts. |

I think CK has really stepped it up in the past few issues. Reminds me of the CK of old--lots of fresh faces, great ideas, and lots of layouts. I hope they can keep it up! |

I saw it at Joann's and realized that my subscription ran out an the renewal hadn't started yet. I bought it and it looks good---figures that it would pick up when I wasn't sure whether or not I was going to renew.

It is a good issue!
needtime2scrap ~ I just checked my copy and there is no blurring on page 59. You must have received a defective issue. I hope you can get it replaced! |

DH had surgery last Friday so I tucked mine into my "waiting room bag" and I must say I really enjoyed it. I always tear up those subscription offer cards into bookmark strips and I have little pieces of paper sticking everywhere. I really like the year in review LO ideas they showcased. After I finish this Xmas LO, I want to do one of those! It's only my 2nd issue as a subscriber - I bit on the $24 for 24 offer - and I have been pleased. Makes missing SS a little easier.... |

I got it yesterday. It is an awesome issue. I love that they are emphasizing lots of photos on a layout. The holiday card ideas in there are great too!!!

For the longest time, I didn't pick up CK at all. But the last few issues have been great to me. Lots of multi-photo LO's and I love the pull out page of sketches. That sketch page alone is worth the cost of the mag for me! Also still loving Ali's column and Becky's sketch. Oh, and Amanda Probst's column; I love her pages also.
I don't know about anyone else, but I noticed a lot of older product on pages! It's nice to see that. Such a change from the huge push for the "latest and greatest." |

I agree, CK is getting better all the time.
Turns out I did just get December's issue and there is lots to enjoy.
I had a quick peak at the new Scrapbook's etc at M's and I think that one appears to be a winner as well. |

I thought it was great as well. I think I will do my P365 in the format - album in a night (I think that was what it is called). SB Etc. was a REAL disppointment this month.
