Do you have friends and family there to support you?
I DO!!! And everyone has been ridiculously generous. We've had meals delivered, visitors galore and I could probably open my own florist. I am fortunate. My siblings and my friends have helped me through the worst of it. BUT... I really cannot thank everyone enough. There is a power- an energy- that moves me from my support here. And frankly you all fascinate me. You're clever and witty and interesting and you truly care about people, too. I tend to joke quite a bit about my situation because I think laughter heals- and it makes people relax when they don't know quite what to say to me. Coming here always brightens my day. Thank you all.

The SJ/HS incident concerned a Big Picture class that Heidi taught - the class was 300.00 dollars and one of the participates emailed Big picture to complain about the overall quality of the class, including Heidi talking to her children and sitter, making dinner plans etc in the middle of the class. Plus the content.
A worker forwarded the email to Stacey and others at Big Picture, Stacey's reply included support of Heidi, how wonderful she thought Heidi was to share with them they should be gratiful and that she could not please everyone, that there were "some Susie's who were just bent on being unhappy no matter what". She then signed her email "so there- SJ" and hit -Reply to all" So the original emailer received the letter along with several others in the class.
The email was then posted on the message board for the class @ big picture and at several other places. Big piture pulled the thread.
The smack blog posted the letter.
Then Stacey Julian went on her blog and talked about how she had "seen a white owl in her backyard and about the war and how we all had more important things going on and to worry about than this. She then posted pictures of the owl and the soldier. That made it worse. IT was like she was just dismissing them.
