Happy Friday Die Cutters! So happy to be starting another month of die cutting with you.
This month the focus is on the Quickutz Epic Six Die Cutting Machine. I'll be sharing ideas with you and how to's on using all sizes/types of QK die with the machine as well as how to use other brands of popular dies all with this great die cutting tool.
Click HERE to see this month's class samples, pdf handout and video.
FEBRUARY CHALLENGE: Use the Epic Six to create a layout, card or project (can incorporate QK or other brands of dies and/or embossing folders). Upload your project to the Two Peas Gallery by March 4, 2010 11:59 p.m. CST and make sure to click the box next to this class. Please make note of what dies you used when uploading your layout so that others can learn and be inspired from your creativeness! Thank you! You will automatically be entered in a drawing to win a prize from Two Peas!
Don't forget: the class samples are just an idea starter. There are hundreds of dies that will work with this machine. For example: consider this cute owl die or hedgehog die or this owl die instead of the fox or birds on the cards.
I can't wait to see all the fabulous creations you come up with this month!

I'll check in next month. All I have is a Slice machine. This looks like a fun challenge, though |

Thanks so much for the video! I haven't even taken my Epic 6 out of its box yet & now that I've seen your video I'll be ready to die cut as soon as I unpack it! I also liked the ideas your gave for distressing & stamping the die cuts. I can't wait to give this challenge a try! | |

Just a tip for those clear acrylic plates. I flip mine over front to back and side to side so they warp a little less. Yes. They still warp, but it keeps them a little longer.
Awesome, awesome video!! |

I have posted my layout. I combined classes so this layout is for both this diecutting class as well as the patterned paper class. I used two very old QK dies on this layout - the snowflake die and the mittens.
