Hi everyone, I'm Tracy and I'm a lurker! I finally decided to jump in after reading lots of posts and posting lots of layouts.

I am mom to a 6yo DD and 2yo DS. I work full time outside the home and my husband has his own business, which allows us the flexibility to have him mostly be a stay at home dad. I've been scrapbooking for over 10 years and have been mostly digital since late 2007, although I still love to get my hands "dirty" by making cards, mini albums and hybrid projects.

I've been a serial crafter all my life and I've tried cross stitch, quilting, crocheting - you name it! Scrapbooking/paper crafting is the only thing that has really stuck, though!

I find so much inspiration here!

Hi everyone! I am Marie and I've been scrapping for about 10 years but have very recently started switching to digital.

I am a mother of 2 - Christopher is soon to be 23 and is married and has made me a grandma of a 1-yo granddaughter. Cheyanne is almost 10 and keeps me young - LOL. I am a widow 7 years now - I married my high school sweetheart 27 years ago. He was Marine and was killed in Afghanistan back in 2003.

I am still navigating the digital waters and have found everyone to be so friendly and helpful! Thanks!

welcome Marie!! So happy you decided to join us here. So sorry for your loss. We all thank you for your husbands service to our country, I know that doesn't take away the pain of his loss, but pray you find comfort in that. Our service men (and women) give up so much in order to serve our nation, but if it weren't for them, we wouldn't have the freedoms we do. ((HUGS))
Besides marrying our high school sweethearts, we have even more in common--I'm a grandma too--but I have 14 grandchildren! They are the icing on the cake of my life for sure. I was born to be a grandma!!

And another thing in common, I also paper scrapped for many years before switching to digi about 1.5 years ago. I've only made one or two paper layouts in the past 9 months!! (and one card). I hope you like Digi as well as I do!! I'm totally enjoying the NO MESS, the ability to shop whenever--in my pajamas, the beautiful kits that are available, the many ways you can use each kit, and almost everything else about digi!!

Again, glad you checked in!! Make yourself at home!!

Hi, all. I'm returning to 2Peas after a looooooooong hiatus. It's actually been quite a long time since I scrapped anything...after going through a tough divorce 2 years back I really couldn't bear it.

But! I've just recently started scrapbooking again and in fact just posted my first ever digital layouts. I'd post the album but I am having a difficulty where any new albums I create and add layouts to show up, and show up with layouts in them, but all the thumbnails/images are missing

Anyway, it is nice to be back. And I'd love some constructive criticism. (I'll say that I favor a really simple style, and that I've only just begun with digital scrapbooking, so be gentle!)
Thanks! Nice to be here!

There are 9 more layouts in that "album".

Hi! I am Lisa. I have been at 2 peas for quite awhile but my level of activity tends to vary quite a bit. I am a former paper scrapper, and turned digi about 2 years ago. Don't know if I can ever go back now either, although I do still have all the supplies should the mood strike me. I am currently living in Belgium with my hubby and 5 year old son.

ETA - just realized this was an old post, just goes to show that I don't hang here enough.

Well, goodness, it's been a LONG time. If you want a chuckle/blast from the past, look at my circa 2001 pages in the -- is it still called the "Peanut Gallery"? Anyway, I bought a Cricut this week, so I decided to check out some scrapbook magazines for ideas, and saw some pages that were done digitally. It looks really fun, and I thought, where better to find out more about it than Two Peas, so here I am.

hi! I'm Sam from Sydney Australia. I'm a working mum with a 12yo (may as well call her a teen) girl.

I am very new to scrapbooking. Over the last week I've discovered digital scrapbooking and I can see why it's so addictive. I've only ever completed 1 paper page, with the intention of doing more, but the thought of pulling out supplies to get started always stops me. On the other hand I'm on the computer all the time so this seems perfect for me...and I already have over 6000 photos on the computer that need attention.

Does anyone use iScrapbook? I couldn't see any mention of it when tagging my pages. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I will browse around the forums too.

I have a blog at http://learncreatedo.wordpress.com which is where I post all my learning, creating, doing things

Hi! I'm Kimberly. I'm new to digital scrapping. I started about 6 months ago and am pretty sure I'm ready to ditch my entire paper scrapping supplies goodbye. I have created more digital pages in the last 6 months than I did physical pages in the last 2 years! I have been scrapbooking for more than 10 years, but I just joined Two Peas in April 2010.

I'm the mother of two kids, Shelby and Cooper. I work from home for a software company and regularly travel to customers around the world. We live in Southern Arizona where my husband runs his family’s business. I love the warm, dry weather here in Arizona and figure we’ll stay here forever.

I love technology and I love being able to scrap on my laptop no matter where I am in the world.

I blog regularly ... check out my blog ... This Kalil Life

Hi! My name is Laura and I have been a paper scrapper for about 10 years. I am married, have two girls (7 and 3) and a little boy (20mo) and work full time as a veterinary surgery technician. I diligently paper scrapped my oldest daughter's first few years until #2 came along. I only have a dozen or so pages of her, and only 2 pages (gasp!) of my son! When I try to find time to scrap it takes so long to get everything out, the kids get into it, and then there's my need to reorganize it all the time! So, digital is calling my name. I have ACDSee and PSE, but haven't done a page yet. I am really excited to learn more about photography and editing and get started with a new/but same creative outlet!

my goodness, I have been a member since 2006, and just kinda popped in and never nestled in. I am thinking I was ungrateful freebie grabber... please all forgive me!! I leave thank you now, and even credit in my galleries!!

I am Anne of Alamo(not the Texas Alamo, but when I started digi, I lived in a small town called Alamogordo in New Mexico) I now live in Northern California.
Digital Scrapping is a release of fun and joy to me. I do pages for my family, for the fun of it, just to play and learn my program, and some I do as emotional pour offs (some giggles, some tears)
I love the written word and like to add pictures to help remember the moment! Hence the scrap!
I am gonna persevere and try and figure out this place. I am already in awe of the paper scrappers I love and hope to be able to manipulate my Adobe to try and emulate some of them!

oh mom of 4, boys 14 and 12 and twin girls 11, and we are homeschoolers and insane!

ps. I would love to read the rules for signature and gallery posting before I do something wrong! If anyone can give me the link? I will promise to leave love on your gallery

Hi! I just got into digi scrapping (a couple days ago! I've been wanting to try for a while though) so I thought I'd introduce myself. I usually hang out on the general scrapping board. I've been paper scrapping for a little over 3 years. I'm hoping to hang out on this board to pick up some tips & tricks and to get inspired!

My short intro: I'm Shannon. I live in California. I'm a Marine Corps wife. We have 2 daughters (2 years old and 6 months old). We're both originally from Massachusetts and miss it terribly!

Also, I just posted my first digital layout to the gallery

Look forward to chatting with you all!

Hi everyone!

My name is Sarah and I have been paper scrapping for about 12 years - not always consistently, but always thinking about it! I've always enjoyed crafts but due to the time (and mess) involved with all my papers I started dabbling in digital in 2008. Now I'm really on board with it and having so much fun!

I'm currently working in PSE7 but feel ready to take the plunge into PS and see how it goes. It will be great to have some additional features to work with.

Looking forward to hanging around here!

Hi, another Aussie here. New to scrapping but have lurked and admired the work done here on Two Peas for ages and decided I had to learn how to use photoshop and a digital camera so I could join in the fun.

My husband and I are retired and live in the bush on acreage with some horses and a couple of border collies. We have 3 handsome grandsons but hope one day a granddaughter will join them so I can scrap some girly stuff LOL

Just starting to get the hang of it all and hope to be posting some layouts to the gallery soon. Still a bit unsure of my abilities but everyone is so friendly and helpful here so I'm going to dip my toe in the water and give it a go.

Looking forward to it!

Hi Rhoda. Nice to have you here and all the way from down under! There are a couple of other Aussie's here at 2Peas.

Congratulations on a grand-daughter. I have daughters only and there are few boys on both sides of my family so my pages are mostly girly! LOL

I am looking forward to seeing your pages with your family and your beloved animals too.

I hope you will get involved in the supportive and inspiring community here at 2Peas. There are numerous challenges weekly and a lot of free classes too!

I'm Alix, I'm not new to 2Peas at all, but I haven't been around in years so I figured introducing myself again would be good

I've been scrapping for going on 10 years now, and digital scrapping exclusively since 2005. I have three girls, twins Paige and Taylor who are 8 and Haleigh who is 6 1/2. I am a preschool teacher for my day job and I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Matt, who is a fire fighter. I have two little kitties and a Siberian Husky, oh and a hermit crab and fish too. I love photography in addition to scrapbooking but need to make more time for playing with my camera. I look forward to getting to know all of you!

I've been scrapbooking for about 11 years now -- long enough to remember commenting to my local scrapbook store owner that it would be so much better to be able to do all of this on a computer so you wouldn't have to build an addition to your house for all of the scrapbook supplies we scrappers accumulate. (Needless to say -- she didn't agree with me.)

Alas, I stopped scrapbooking a couple of years ago because I disliked the stuff out all over, I felt wasteful buying sets of embellishments/supplies to only use a couple, and I got tired of having to pack multiple totes for any time I would want to scrapbook outside of my own home.

But oh, how I missed the art of scrapbooking.

Now, with a new computer, a commitment to digiscrapping, and a longing to return, I am here. Back at my favorite site...Two Peas. It was my first stop, as I knew the best and the brightest gather here.

I look forward to a new adventure, and returning to scrapbooking.

Hey Shanaq, welcome. I don't think there is a message board here specifically for die cutter files. The ones that would be the best suited would probably be here at the digi board, or over at General Scrappin.'

I finally registered today and figured I'd introduce myself.

I started scrap booking back in 1993 before there were scrapbook stores in my area. When scrap booking took off, I quickly got overwhelmed with all the choices and stopped.

Four or five years ago I started making digital books and am a much happier camper. For the last three years, I've done a year in review type book hitting all the highlights for the year and I've yet to start my book for 2010. I've decided I want to push the envelope and came here looking for inspiration. My layouts are usually crisp and clean (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2047/2140511397_f074523f83_o.jpg) and I'm looking to mix things up a bit and hopefully learn some new techniques in the process.

Hi! Newbie to the digi world, and really interested in digi card making.

Been scrapping about 6 years or so, and met a bunch of my scrappy friends here, at 2Peas. I don't think I'll ever give up paper scrapping completely, as I am a tactile, paper, touchy kinda person. AND, I have a crap-ton of stuff in my basement scrap area to play with.

However, a new business venture I got involved with is an online card and gift sending service. Not e-cards, real paper cards that get printed, stuffed and mailed for you. It's basically upload 300 dpi jpeg that can be used as the front of a card, personalize the inside of the card (or upload that too) and click "SEND".

So I thought I'd try my hand at creating digi card fronts and OMG....had no idea how much I had to learn. I have PSE6, and I've been watching some tutorials. But most kits and tuts are for layouts and I want to make cards...not really even photo cards, just cards. Can't find much out there. Unless I'm not looking in the right places.

Anyone know a good spot for layered card templates, either really cheap, or free??

Sheila
