Hello all!
I'm no stranger to Two Peas, but I must admit, I never really got involved in posting in the galleries or spending time in the forums.
I'm a paper and digital scraper. I enjoy creating handmade albums, art journals and digi projects.

My other half is an over the road truck driver and only gets home a few times a year, so to be able to spend time with him until "mini-me's" come along, I ride with him most of the time. So, that is the time I digital scrap. Since I can't bring all my papers, glue and scissors with me, I CAN take my laptop and still have my creative outlet. I'm 31, live in Alabama with Shane(my other half) and our two furbabies Ozzie and Harriet.

I look forward to getting to know you all and be inspired!!

I was looking for the thread to introduce yourself and now found it!

I'm not new to 2peas either and have been reading for a long time. I have tried other scrap forums before but never seem to fit in. I feel that 2 peas is different.

My name is Christine, born and raised in the Netherlands after my husband got his Master degree in Electrical Engineering, which has more to do with computing than electricity , we moved out of the country and lived an expat life in many other countries.

This is our second stay in the USA, we lived in California in Marin county from 1999-2002 before moving to France. Because my health declined and there was no known treatment in France we decided to move back to the USA in the hope on a better chance for treatment. So far that has not materialized and I have become bed and wheelchair bound.

My profession was graphic design with a major(addiction) in typography. I'm lucky to have found digital scrapbooking as it is something I can totally do from my bed on my laptop or on a good day in my wheelchair in my office. I'm mostly a pocket scrapper, my goal is to leave memory books for my family so that they have something to remember me by after I'm gone and pass on. I'm documenting my life from a child until now and also in a different album our daily life. As you can imagine that daily life, if you do not go out in the world, is not very exciting. We do share our home with 4 4 legged kids, 2 dogs and 2 cats.

Looking forward to making new friends and learn a lot from you all as I would like to do more hybrid work!

Thank you so much for introducing yourself, Christine! I'm so sorry to hear about your health issues, I hope for miracles in the future for you. Please stop by often, I'd love to see your work and 'talk shop'. I also have a background in graphic design, and love typography!

I'm making a New Year's Resolution to be more active here at 2Ps, and help bring this board to where it used to be when I joined this community over 6 years ago. Lets BTT, and keep it going, ladies (and maybe some gentlemen!)

Hi - I'm not new to TwoPeas but I am brand new to digital scrapping. I've been making traditional scrapbooks since 1987 (!!) and love it.

Presently I am working on an annual history for my church and I know that this time, digital is the only way to go.

I am glad to have this resource available! I love TwoPeas!
