Hello! And welcome back to the Patterned Paper Every Which Way Class! It has been so exciting to see all of your entries these past three months. This month is sure to be just as fun!
For past lessons visit the class page, here . This month is all about...
Patterned Paper Backgrounds
April Class Description: Do you usually reach for a trusty piece of cardstock for your layout backgrounds? If so, this month let's try something a little different, patterned paper. Don't worry, there are subtle patterns that will work fabulously as a background. And if you regularly use patterned paper for a background, let's push it a little further this month. Go a bit bolder, add texture, try something new.
Be sure to download the PDF, here , for more photos, description, links to examples and directions for this layout.
Each month we will have a challenge associated with the class. This month your challenge is to create a layout/card/project on which you used patterned paper as a background.
To participate in the Challenge:
-Create a project on which you've used patterned paper as the background.
-Layout can Digital, Traditional or a Hybrid.
-Submit your layout by uploading to the gallery by May 9, 2010 11:59 CST. Don't forget to click the box next to this class (Patterned Paper Every Which Way: April 2010).
I will pick a winner randomly from all the submissions to win a Gift Certificate to Two Peas and post the winner on the Education Board on May 10th. For every submission to this class you will earn a badge!

I really love the challenges that you always come up with each month. Last month in March, I was very surprised that at least two of my LOs turned out to be a CHALLENEGED LOs. Thank you so much Shannon!!!

Yay! Been waiting for the new class....excited to do a LO or two with pp as the background...I have done it before...quite a bit! I love it!

My first entry for this class. I hope to keep it up each month! I used some double sided K&Co. printed paper for my background and an accent strip. The background is a faint harlequin and the striped piece is the reverse. Yeah! Feels good to use up some printed paper! Thanks for the challenge!

This one is truly a challenge for me because I usually don't use my PP as a background. I usually use neutral colors like kraft or white. I'm ready to give it a try! Thanks for the inspiration!

I cheated a tiny bit, because I have a really small cardstock border on two sides, but the rest is G45 patterned paper.

I made 2 more layouts using patterned papers. One is bold and the other is muted prints in the same color family.
