I'd guess something ultra portable like the Slice.
Or, since the price of the Gypsy is suddenly lower, maybe a new & improved version of the Gypsy.
Either way, I won't be likely to buy it. I haven't even bought a Cricut.
Because I have a Gazelle, I really have no need for the Cricut & everything that goes with it (and which can really add up $$$$$$$). |

I think it is more of a "membership" than an actual physical item. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with papercraftingpro (owned by PC). |

That made me lol. I was just thinking that--my gypsy still doesn't function like they said it would, so I'm not all that excited about whatever it is.
thanks for the laugh! | |

I don't know, but it better be good. They aren't making themselves very popular lately. |

What do I think it could be? Hmmmm...I'll guess! How about a device that you could interconnect with other Gypsies. I mean my daughter could play her DS with others connected to it, why can't a Gypsy to that? So if it was interconnected you could play with your Gypsy with your Circle of friends. |

I am thinking it will be some kind of monthly club/something to belong to or be a part of. Because of the name, for instance, a sewing circle or a circle of friends. But I have been known to be wrong.

If Provo is smart...it's a website to download individual cut files not cartridges. It's time to embrace it, not ignore it. |

I automatically pictured those pins you use to anchor fabric in a sewing machine so you can embroider/stitch in a circle.
So my humorous guess is a pin/lazy susan device that enables you to cut any of your shapes repeatedly in a circle.
Seriously, I think the cricut club idea sounds more likely.

I'm betting it has to do with that survey from awhile back about interest in a "club". They'll want people to pay a fee to participate in member's only message boards, the right to buy exclusive carts and acessories and get advanced news before it is released to the average consumer. Whatever. Not joining.

that would be nice. so I'm wondering given the survey if it is a monthly subscription to a library of images. though if they did that then downloads could be shared and you know they are not gonna let that happen. so if they do it they'd need an interface that ran directly through the website with no downloads at all. maybe even "backed up" our access to our cartridges we already own? |

Hmm...you had me curious. I did it and it reads, "Cricut Personal Paper Cutter."
Is that different from what they call the cricut already?
