Sorry I'm late... Our internet/my laptop was totally screwed up last night.

At any rate, this is the final week of our challenge. Time to decorate!

Question of the week (and please don't answer it until you've completed this challenge): What week was the hardest for you? Also, don't forget to post after pictures!

This is where I wish I had more room. There isn't much room to decorate my space as my cabinets pretty much take up all the space I have (wall wise). Anyone else out there with this problem? And while we are here, is anyone else just not going to be ready to reveal next week too? I am a few weeks behind because we have been really busy with summer stuff and all. Guess my challenge will be more like 40+ weeks lol. I guess that is the beauty of this though to work at my own pace.

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO crisann!!! And also, I don't know if you like hugs, but I am sending a virtual one your way!

It is just so important to me to let you know how much I have appreciated you hosting this challenge, and most especially, hanging in there with us when we got lazy or skipped weeks,

I am so enjoying knowing what I have and where it is! And I have not missed anyting I got rid of.

As far as the pretty room factor, I will be putting that off a bit, since I signed up for a sewing class that starts this week. I will try to post a picture of the fabric I am going to use to make a little slipcover for my old office desk chair.

Another thing I want to do is to add coordinating labels on some of my bins and boxes.

QOTW: The hardest week is a tie between paper and the big clear out at the beginning!

Hope we can all keep going and finish up our little bits and keep up with the process as we go forward.

Enjoyed getting to know you all!

OMG! I've never seen these posts or your blog link before - I'm going to say thank you in advance as this is just what I need! My plan for today is to organize my SB room so I can actually SB in it! Although I won't be part of the challenge, I can't wait to get some great ideas and inspiration.

I think the hardest thing for me was the sorting of the pics and allowing myself to get rid of some. I had kept even the worst ones cuz "I just might be able to make that better" and of course, that never happened. It was hard, but really liberating! Crisann, this was the best thing I have ever done and I thank you for having this challenge! I am more organized, happier, and I think even a little more creative because I don't have all this "stuff" bogging me down. Here is my room:

geniebeanie, the Wookiemouse challenge is so worth it. You can go back to the threads and do it.

toodiefroodie, thanks for sharing your pictures. I almost cried when I saw the picture of your grandad's cane hanging next to those adorable baby shoes!

This is really bittersweet for me because 1) I'm not done and will have to finish it on my own 2) I've enjoyed this chat so much, sharing the same hang ups and successes with all of you.

I'm a little scared that it will get left right where it is without this challenge. I think I will try to tidy up my room and show pics anyway even though I can't decorate properly until we buy the place (I need to redo all the trim in here.)

I've fallen off the wagon.

I do appreciate all you've done, and hopefully go back and pickup where I've left off. It was great talking to everyone and seeing what obstacles they had to wrestle with. Along the way I learned so much about overbuying and what my tastes really were.

I'm not giving up yet!!

Nice to see some of you check in again!

Crisann I'd like to thank you for hosting this challange !
It realy made a difference for me to talk with you and see the stuggles you galls where having. Just to know I did not do it alone made a huge difference.
I learned alot and got some great ideas along the way.

That being said, I realy, realy, realy hope you all share pic's of your rooms as they are right now. Doesn't matter if you are done yet. Shove all the thing you do not want us to see behind closed doors or something but please share. Along the way I was trying to picture in my head how things looked in your places... but nothing beats the real deal, right. I just want to see and enjoy with you how far you've come.
Mine are comming (I need to shove some things behind closed doors as well ) when I have cleaned up and done my finishing touch.

toodiefroodie thanks for sharing, you've done a great job!

I forgot to answer the QOTW:
Hardest week was when I needed to admit that I had to go for broke. At first I thougt I was kinda organised already and just needed something extra in some weeks.... Yah, right...like an ostrich I was sticking my head in the sand...
The week that still is bugging me is ideas. I still don't know what to do with my sketches.

O and here is a littlesneak peak of my scraproom. The rest will follow.

Pitje- I love the zig zag art/photo holder. That turned out awesome and very creative too! I will do my best to post pics of my room when I get it finished. I really have been close to keeping up, just might take me a few extra weeks. Hope I can be finished by the time school starts again as I go back to work

So for now I just posted pics of my scraproom on my blog (that was enough work for today) so if you want to check it out here's the direct link. It's not done, I still want to paint and decorate more but that may take a while before that gets done because we are still waiting for all the stuff to go through for buying the house. Almost everything is where it should be except the stuff I didn't finish for this challenge, but we are very close.

Oh Jen, I so love your work station with those chairs and very clever with the drawer under neat there. The white board to keep track of projects is a good idea. And own places for your kids aswell. So much room to work with that! Great room and thanks for sharing!

UK Heli Glad to see you back here. Good luck moving your stuf in your new room, a completely blank canvas again... Have fun 'painting' it.

I completed uploading pic's of my room. So tatatatataaaa... Here is my
scrap room reveal

I want to thank all of you that helped and inspired me with your ideas.
It was great to take this journey along with you. Hope to hear from you again.
