I finally got my Silhouette up and running again on our new computer and I was reading that you can cut SVG files on it.

Have you tried it (I read you just save as DXF file in Inkscape)?

Also, any good sources of where to find freebie SVG files. I figure there is more of a selection out there since lots of people are using that format with their Cricuts.

Thanks!!

Yes Ive done it a lot and love it. I also cut it out in the inkscape program. It goes much smoother and is less noisy- I do have trouble sizing things though. There are tutorials and files here, once you get the hang of it its pretty great.

Hey! Can anyone tell me how to get a DXF file to work in the NEW Silhouette Studio software? So far I have to open it in RoboCraft software and re-save as GSD file...any help would be appreciated!!
