|Posted: 8/10/2010 12:19:03 AM|Hello! Are you guys ready to get started on our August lesson? It's all about Patterned Paper Flowers! And best of all...they are fast flowers.
You can see the project and download the PDF, HERE!
August Class Description:
Handmade flowers are everywhere these days, from home decor, to fashion, and across multiple crafts including scrapbooking of course. There are a ton of different styles of flowers as well. I've seen some beautiful and intricate creations. Some that look like they must take hours and hours. I wanted a fun, handmade look, without the time commitment. I know that most of you are just as busy as I am so let's make flowers faster. By taking out the hand cutting these simple pinwheel flowers can be made in minutes with just a round punch. By varying the size of your punch you can change the size of your flowers. Create a cluster or just one simple embellishment. To keep these flowers from looking too simple use a variety of patterned papers to create an interesting floral arrangement.
Each month we will have a challenge associated with the class. This month your challenge is to create a layout/card/project on which you've made flowers out of patterned paper.
To participate in the Challenge:
-Create a project on which you've made flowers out of patterned paper.
-Layout can Digital, Traditional or a Hybrid.
-Submit your layout by uploading to the gallery by September 9, 2010 11:59 CST. Don't forget to click the box next to this class (Patterned Paper Every Which Way: August 2010).
I will pick a winner randomly from all the submissions to win a Gift Certificate to Two Peas and post the winner on the Education Board on September 10th. For every submission to this class you will earn a badge!
