and I love it . I color my hair blonde and use Pantene shampoo normally. My hair is pretty close to straw lately. Until today when I washed it with the low sulfate shampoo by Tresemme called Naturals Moisture Shampoo. It feels super soft and bouncy. I also used the Tresemme Smooth and Silky Conditioner. I'm done looking for a good conditioner and shampoo!!!

I will have to try that. I have naturally curly hair and it's so dry. I'm always on the look out for something that allows my hair to be curly instead of frizzy.

I'm another dyed blond. I used to love Pantene but I haven't been happy with it for the last little while....I'll try the treseme. Thanks for the recommendation.

I've been a Tresemme fan for years, and have been using the Naturals line for a few months. I LOVE the shampoo, and don't feel that it strips my hair like other (even more expensive) ones do. I don't use their conditioner so I can't speak for it, but the shampoo is awesome!

Interesting. I crave swishy silky hair and I get it for a short while after it's coloured but then it's just blech from then on. Maybe this will help!

Yep looks like I am going to go look for that today. Thanks! My hair is also color treated and gets really dry sometimes. I can't use Pantene because it makes my hair oily for some reason.

I tried the shampoo and conditioner in the Orange scented Naturals Radiant Volume formula by Tresemme and I really like it . It makes my fine hair easier to manage, didn't weigh it down and it is so silky soft! Thanks ladies .

I also just switched to this from Pantene. Pantene's new formula SUCKS! My hair was getting really dry and brittle too. It always looked frizzy and gross.
I have naturally curly hair so I bought the one for that.
If you pay attention to the commercial for this stuff and see the transformation of the curly girls hair....that is EXACTLY what mine did. Ive used it 3 times already and my curls are tight, bouncy, frizz free, and shiny

ETA: Im using the shampoo/conditioner/mousse for curly hair, and the 24 hour hold finishing spray.

Interesting. I was always informed that Pantene is the worst shampoo for hair. Have had many hairdressers tell me not to use it.

Will keep my eye out for this one if it makes it down this way.

I was using Pantene for a long time. My hair wasn't looking good, but IMO it rarely does, LOL. My hairdresser told me to stop using it. It took years for her to tell me not to use Pantene, so I was skeptical. (I figured she was trying to sell me on their $20 a bottle shampoo.) I bought the $20 a bottle shampoo (SOMA I think it's called). It's ok. Doesn't lather like I"m used to (and yes I know that's a "good" thing, but it's hard to get used to.)

It's just ok. I tried the WEN system recently. Loved it for 3 days then started feeling it was greasy. It's too difficult to get that "just right," so I'll send that back to QVC for a refund.

Going to stick with the SOMA stuff for now.

I went to buy this shampoo. I read the ingredients list and it listed 2 different sulfates. I can not remember which sulfates were listed. I read the bottle of the other Tresseme and there was only one type of sulfate listed. I thought it was weird that since it said "low sulfates" why were 2 different sulfates listed? Guess I need to brush up on my chemistry.

I was in Target on Saturday, after I'd read this, so I decided to look for the shampoo. Target had it on sale for $3.99, so I decided to give it a try. So far, so good! I color my hair, so I bought the conditioner, too. I hope I don't have to use it all the time, though. My hair is soft and silky and was easy to style. I hope I still like it in a month or two. I start out liking a product and then it either starts weighing down my hair or doesn't work as good as it used to.

Thanks for the recommendation!

This is my experience with many brands including anything like Pantene, Dove, etc. I have been using Biolage shampoos and conditioners for a long time. Sometimes I think I should switch it up some but don't know what to switch too. The cost isn't too bad, I guess, because I usually stock up when Ulta has a Buy 2, Get 2 Free sale. Maybe I should give Tressemme a try for something to switch between.

I noticed that my hair is like straw, especially on the ends. I used to get one perm once a year, and decided to skip a year becasuse I thought the perm was the problem. But my hair is as bad as ever now. I was wondering if I should try a new shamp;oo. I use Pantene most of the time. I used to love Vidal Sasson, but they stopped making it about 10 years ago.

Guess, I'm the only one who had an allergic reaction to this type of shampoo. I tried the L'oreal one and it destroyed my scalp. I still have problems with itching, flaking, etc. and I stopped using the shampoo months ago. I'm assuming the shampoo caused it because it started happening right away.

So I'm still looking for a good shampoo/conditioner combo.

I've been using the Loreal version 'Everpure' for a few months now.

I have long. thick hair that would get greasy after a day with regular shampoo, and i tried almost every regular shampoo under the sun.

This shampoo makes my hair feel amazing!!! Everytime I use it, it is like a new head of hair. My hair can go days now (if need be) without looking or feeling greasy.

I've reccomended this shampoo to my sister who has literally FRIED her hair with colors. Her hair is soo silky and smooth and looks better than it has in years.

Ok, so this is good for color-treated hair? I have tried the Loreal one before, and it felt like it fried my hair. It felt so dry and gross, even with the conditioner. I have been using Dove for color treated hair, and just bought a 2nd bottle of the shampoo. I do need to use more conditioner, but I like how it makes my hair feel.

Based on the word of the Peas, I went out and bought the EverPure shampoo and Conditioner. YUCK! Used it once and my hair was a frizzy disaster mess. That was a $13 waste.

I use Pantene and love it. I'm sticking with what works for me. I shampoo every other day and condition every day. My hair is naturally curly and I very rarely blow dry it.

I would love to find something that helps even more to keep the frizzies down though. DC is pretty humid in the summer.

I've been using the L'Oreal Everpure for about a year now. IIRC correctly I had to give it about a week to really be happy with it, and now I wouldn't use anything else.

No, you are not the only one, Pantene now makes my hair greasy. The cause? I think it is the wax that they are putting in their shampoos and conditioners ick..
I like Tresemme and probably won't go back now, I know they say "lower sulfates" but I would rather have that then Pantene or Garnier Fructis (which is what I was using before). The orange in the Radiant Volume Line smells so good and yes it is fine for color treated hair. In fact I have noticed that my hair is shinier.
The only thing I didn't like was the Fresh Start dry shampoo, that is going back..

That is AWESOME to read!!! I too get my hair 'touched up' and back to my 'natural' colour! (LOL)

I keep switching shampoo's and conditioners because I can't find one I like. I don't use shampoo regularly, so it lasts forever!!!

Right now I am using the Nexis Humectress Line. I am loving it, so when you are done with the Tresemme, give that one a go.

My stylist was telling me to switch it up. Find 2 or 3 that you like and when you finish one, switch to the next and so on.

I am adding the Tresemme to my line up!!!

I noticed my hair getting greasy too! I use Pantene, and didn't think it was the shampoo. My hair never would get greasy with the other Pantene, so I didn't know what ws going on. It sounds like it's the Pantene causing it.

Isn't it funny that we have all noticed the same thing with Pantene! I'm ready to throw my two bottles out even though it's not finished. It seems like it's doing more damage to our hair than cleaning it.

Are you sure they were sulfates? Some can be confused with silicones. And maybe they have two sulfates, but just include a tiny amount and the regular Tresemme includes a large amount of the one.

Some silicones are water soluble and those are fine because they rinse away with just water. You can find a list of them here:

I tried it when it first came out and thought it sucked. My hair was not smooth and soft at all. It felt dry. And it was a little frizzy too. But of course I have never been a fan of Tresemme. None of their shampoos or conditioners have ever made my hair nice.

I used to use Pantene, and I started getting BAD dandruff. For years and years and never figured it out, until my hairdresser told me to stop using it because it was the worst shampoo out there.

I've recently discovered Frederic Fekkai products!! They are the best thing I've done for my hair in a long time!!

So, now I rotate. One wash I use Selsun Blue with FFekkai conditioner, the next wash I use FFekkai shampoo and conditioner, and for one week I use the FF clarifying shampoo.

The products are fantastic, although they are a little pricey. Each bottle costs 21 bucks. But, they are definitely worth it.

Hmmm.. they have a smoothing and silky line:
http://www.tresemme.com/Products/Gallery/Smoothing/

I haven't noticed any wax buildup from Tresemme, I guess it depends on the hair type. I made the mistake of buying Pantene's Color Expression Shampoo for Brunettes and it was awful. Made my oily and greasy and ick.. that is when I found out about the wax. I won't use it again blech!

I'm sorry, but I don't believe hairdressers at all any more.

In fact I got so tired of feeling pressured to buy expensive products I got in the habit of lying.

I always tell them I'm using Biolage. Always. And every time they say "Oh, you can tell."

Yeah right.

I use head and shoulders for my dandruff and mix up the conditioner trying to find something that will help with the frizz. I'm hoping this Tresemme does the trick for me!

But I think like anything we use, it depends on the person. For some people a simple bar of Ivory soap works best, for others, moisturizing body wash is needed. Some people can use Aveeno moisturizer and others break out unless they use Oil of Olay.

There just isn't a way to know without trying it out. And I wouldn't believe a dermatologist that told me they knew what lotion I was using by looking at my skin either.

Thank you.

I've never gotten any scientific explanation behind "don't use Pantene!" beyond innuendo and "so and so said."

I have never had a stylist who didn't also have product for sale "warn" me about a shampoo.

OOhh, I'll have to try it. Pantene is the worst thing to use on your hair. There is a certain ingredient in it that leaves build up. My hairdresser doesn't recommend any of their products.

Because of Two Peas, I just went out and bought Suave Rosemint and L'Oreal Everpure. I've been using Pantene, and been thinking my hair was starting to look oily at the end of the day. Hoping I notice a good difference!

I normally use Pantene, but my hair is getting kind of dry. I bought Herbal Essences hydralicious. It put moisture back in my hair. It has Shea butter. I am going to give Tressemes a try. If I don't like it, I'll give it to DH.
