Halloween Home Decor/Party Sack Favors with Rebecca Trump
I wanted to create fun & scrappy home decor items to spruce up the same decorations that I've been using for 4 years in a row. I decided to create a wreath and garland using the super cute My Minds Eye Halloween Collection, and while I was at it, I decided to stretch my supplies a little further by making a few cute party favor sacks (just in case I had friends come over to help me pass out candy).
I must tell ya'll that the opening photo for the project was "set up" over my mantle for photographing purposes only...however, it still looks like that! And let me say, every time I have walked into the living room since, I smile because seeing the garland and wreath make me happy for Halloween! The fact that my home is actually decorated before the 30th makes me even giddier! LOL!
So that said, here's the challenge if you want to join me in getting your home Halloween-ready:

I'm trying to make my banner a part of this challenge...I thought I clicked on the challenge box when I uploaded it, now when I try and edit the layout, it doesn't give me the option of adding this challenge. Do I have to re-submit the project? Or how do I add it to this challenge?

I love your banner! I didn't get a chance to make one in time for Halloween but I'm still holding out hope for Christmas. I did however make some Halloween treats. Mine were in felt pockets. You can see them here. |
