1. Read: And I actually thought I didn't have any projects, unfinished pages, and kit problems until I started organizing and reading what everyone else was working on, LOL!

2. QOTW: do you subscribe to a monthly kit club? do you leave kits together or organize them into your stash? do you put kits together from your stash?
I just signed back up for kits from The Scrap Room (with the send-more-coffee option, LOL). I will leave them together because I put my own kits together whenever I bring new PP home. Not necessarily kits with embellishments but I like to match up my new PP with CS as soon as I get home...so that I know I have something that matches. Then it all goes into its own kit bag.

3. OK, if I list my unfinished projects here, maybe I'll actually start to tackle them.
a. Finish photo week. I'm "almost" there. I just need to put some photos into regular two-up albums. And label those albums.
b. Unfinished and finished layouts. I have a box for the current ones. I need to complete those, the journaling is missing. AND I reorganized my finished layouts and found some missing journaling, dates, misspelled titles, and just general weirdness!! I also need to fix the albums that I'm using for 2008.
c. Kits/PP/CS, find a method or mode to use it. A number method or something like that.
d. Christmas cards!! I started them, I need to get going on them so they are done and mailed by Thanksgiving. We moved in June so I need to get my change of address out there before others start mailing theirs!!

OK, thats it for now. I'll check back in later today after I've worked in my area for a bit.

1. read
2. I don't subscribe to a monthly kit club - I have done in the past but I have found over the years that I prefer to do my own thing!
3. I may be proved wrong as I unearth more things, but I am 99% sure that I don't have any unfinished pages - I have a ton of pages not in albums, but no pages that are unfinished!
I think I have a couple of unfinished projects - or more accurately 1 that I know of & several planned but not yet started projects. I do have some "sets" or kits of stuff in ziplocks. I have these coralled in a cubby of my expedit & will work on sorting these during this week!

Back later when I have more progress ... I have spent quite a lot of this weekend in my craft room & have made a lot of progress, but it's more on the "big stuff" than the detail like I finally have the new unit set up - it's just "loaded" with boxes at the moment but I know what is there & can tackle the contents as we get to those weeks!

1. read the week 8 post on wookiemouse's blog. - Done and I think she had a picture in there again of the map drawer which as I struggled with pulling out my iris cases full of scraps made me wish for one yesterday! Anyway love the popsicle stick idea. Not sure I will do that but nonetheless a very good idea.
2. answer the question of the week on this thread. - I do not subscribe to a kit club - Yay I think...after seeing some Studio Calico kits and Scarlet Lime wish I could but no. I did buy some once along time ago and during the paper week I found them and took them apart. Paper went with paper and embellishments with the correct embellishment section - presorted. I have my unfinished layouts stored either in the album that they should go in or in project organizing box from CM which I bought ages ago but LOVE - has tabbed dividers which you can write on in pencil. As for the ones stored in their future albums, basically the papers, embellishments and photos are in their future sleeve or lying within the front sleeve of the album. That way I cannot lose a piece of them....theoretically.
3. organize your projects, unfinished pages, and kits. - as I am not too far behind in this area I think I will concentrate on the last CH box of CS and the photos - ugh so far behind that I think this will be an ongoing area of work. I do think it will be worth it though.

Thanks again Crisann!

I really really like Wookiemouse's popsicle method, but my unfinished page r mostly in their albums, so I won't be putting them in ziplock bags or etc! but, i can still use the popsicles stix.

I do subscribe to a monthly kit, except I always order extras so they pile up really quickly. The kits are pretty well organised, filed by months. Trouble is getting to use them in the last 10 months! Papers from partially used kits are kept by months, embellishments not used are separated by colors into my drawers (I have one drawer per color and put flowers/ribbons/brads/buttons/scraps by color inside).

1. I have read Wookiemouse's blog. . .
2. I have never subscribed to a monthly kit club; but I have bought kits at convention or complete lines of paper w/ embellishments (think Basic Grey here)! I keep the kits together and they will be labelled in my newly assembled 9 x 9 wire cube. I was working on that this afternoon.
3. I have started to organize the unfinished projects and did a popsicle prompt jar last time around. Need to re-visit though as I am finding stuff as I unpack from the move.

I once got a one year subscription to a club from my mom. It was great to see what was going to be dropped off at your doorstep, but a lot of the time it wasn't something that I needed...and most of it is still unused and that was 2005!
I do go to the "free for all" free Thursday class (shout out Mad Scrapper in WA! ), and bring home that project, usually 1/2 finished, and it lives in a cropper hopper small file...welll they are still there! LOL

Here is my blog from my first attempt at corraling my projects... round 2-Projects!
Good Luck!

hi ladies!

well, i got absolutely nothing done this week. note: bookcases are still exactly where they were and i haven't said anything b/c... well, s/o has been working on the foundation/concrete pad for the outdoor woodburner, which means: soon, i'll have real heat around here. not this, the upstairs is finished and really well-insulated, but we run electric space heaters b/c there's no ductwork and we use a wood burner downstairs... you get the idea.

my cat disappeared tonight - i checked everywhere, including the dryer, b/c that's just the way i am. walked outside and guess who showed up? needless to say, i tossed his butt back in the house. sneaky little guy!

oh and scrappnbee - i love being called "the fabulous crisann" lol...

Crisann- that is because you are! and don't let s/o (or the cat) tell you any different! good luck on getting heat! Next to chocolate, caffine, and a great glass of...(insert your favorite here), heat is one of life's great essentials!

I don't subscribe to a monthly kit club but I do purchase page kits at conventions and my LSS. I keep them in my wire cubes in the closet along with the page kits I make up. The page kits I make are either in Craft Keeper envelopes or page protectors.
I used to take a lot of classes at my local scrapbook stores and those layouts are in crop n style PSB binders waiting for pictures. I hardly ever take a class anymore. Sadly, most of the stores have gone out of business.

question of the week:

do you subscribe to a monthly kit club?
-no.
do you leave kits together or organize them into your stash?
-I don't get kits. I do make my own page kits for scrapping from my personal stash.
do you put kits together from your stash?
Yes. so that when i do have time or get inspired I can grab one and work on it. Makes it easier for me when I go to my friend's house to scrap with her.

My big projects have their own iris cart container. These include
My wedding album (yes i know i have been married for seven years and have yet to finish my wedding scrapbook.)
My yearly father in law's annual Christmas Calendar. (at least thats one gift off my list!)
Christmas Card scrapbook
Schwab family scrapbook
Shanes Childhood scrapbook
and then I have projects in progress -like the cruisin the coast album.

Well I have a few 15 minute housework sessions to do then I am gonna work in my scrapbook room for a bit today and work on my office too!

checklist of things to do during week 8 -

1. read the week 8 post on wookiemouse's blog.
2. answer the question of the week on this thread.
3. organize your projects, unfinished pages, and kits

ScrappnBee - I used to go to a Thursday night free club and NEVER finished anything! Talked to much!

Crisann - well he was productive. Our wood stove has been smoky so Mr.Soot will hopefully come fix it this week. Yes we do have central heat but DH keeps the house at 63. I am wearing a coat and turned the furnace up to 65!

Pampered Princess - my wedding scrapbook is not done - almost 25 years later

You mean we are supposed to actually accomplish something other than talking at a crop???

On a side note, I'm finished with Photo week. For now. I may revisit later...in life, LOL!
I've also finished my unfinished pages and now have a "spot" for WIP projects. So I think I'm good for this week. I just need to get the blog post up.

Hope everybody else is plugging away!!!!

Scrappin_USMC - WOW Photos done! Is this round one or two for you??? Two I am hoping....because mine are still in the dining room.

As for crops, at the beginning DH used to ask if I got a lot done and then he learned. The question changed to "What did you all have for dinner?" and best of all, "How much money did you spend?"

But hey I won the raffles several times because I found the prizes in Week 2! Like Twizzle Ties and that Magic Mesh! Those were good days

hi everyone,

I was hoping for a free week to work on photos or ideas but alas this is another area that is still not organized in my room. I don't think I have much but I have my page kits that I put together from my stash (that were supposed to get done at crops)I keep them in those 12x12 paper keepers. But lately I have been doing alot of 3D projects (mini albums and boxes) that need to be in something wider so I bought some iris containers for those. The problem is I don't have a space for the iris containers. I keep having to shift them from place to place. It's getting quite frustrating so that will be one of my goals for this week, to give them a permenant home.

QOTW: Well as you know I subscribed to a stamp of the month club recently, so far I've only recieved my first one yet so it hasn't become out of control but they do come with paper, card bases and embellishments. I think I will do the projects that I like out of them and then put the left over supplies with my other supplies in the appropriate places. I'm really after the stamps and the new techniques, not nessesarily all the projects that come in the kit.

yay scrappin usmc! Photos are a great accomplishment! I still think of mine and want to cry On another note this weekend I took a project to a crop got a good chunk of it done at the crop and invited the friend that went with me over the next day and I actually finished the whole mini album!

I just looked out the window and its SNOWING!!!!

Lovesribbons- I do not think I EVER finished a whole project! My DH is the same way. He actually went on a scrap retreat with me once (since it was the football draft weekend). If I come home with anything done now he is happy!

Congrats Scrappin USMC! That is great! Getting photos done is a major accomplishment.

daisymarie-so sad, no LSS! I just got some of the new winter BoBunny from mine! I don't know what I'd do without it arround!

UK Heli-you let us know when you are ready to tackle, and we'll cheer you on!

i only have a few kits (1 or more that I bought) & a bunch from a crop at Recollections. Also, some from classes at a big scrapping event. Some I'll purge. Others will join the general paper files etc.

I also used to get a cardstock kit/subscription, but that is all incorporated into my cardstock. that works!

Unfortunately, I have lots of projects and unfinished pages - most of them just need journaling. I haven't done much this week, but I have listed my projects and unfinished pages. I'm trying to decide how I'll organize them. I do like the popsicle stick idea, but not sure how it will work for me. Time to pull all the projects/unfinished pages out and see how much I've got to work with.

QOTW: do you subscribe to a monthly kit club? do you leave kits together or organize them into your stash? do you put kits together from your stash?
I don't subscribe to a monthly kit. I do have a few kits which I keep together. After I have used most of the kit, I break the items out and organize in my stash.

maria vs. the challenge...so far, challenge is winning, but I'm not ko'd yet...still working on paper...

read wookiemouse's blog: done

QOTW: I don't subscribe to any kit clubs, but I do have a drawer full of unfinished pages and projects (I always have a project or two waiting). Not too bad...As I'm working on paper, I have run across a few "page kits" that I put together myself with no particular photos in mind. They'll be put in an iris tote (has a handle) so at least they will be together. Note: I did find a couple of pages that had elements falling off so I had to re-attach those. At that time, I think I was using a Tombow mono adhesive, instead of the Kokuyo that I came to depend on! I'm using the 3L runners now and I usually get them with a coupon at HL.

Thanks to everyone for the humor during the challenge; it always helps!

This is a very scary week for me and one that I really can't face right now. Must finish Halloween costumes for my kids before tackling my kits and UFO's.

If I do find a few moments, I'll be finishing off my ideas/inspiration book or tagging photos and uploading a bunch to print. Right now I want to feel like something is DONE rather that add a new project to my list!!

It snowed all day yesterday but now the sun is out and snow is predicted to leave tomorrow if not today, right now its -1C, stiil to cold to melt it.

I am procrastinating big time on the kits, and photos just don't want to leave my brain, I think about them but do absolutely nothing with them. I am slowly dealing with clutter in my workspaces though, somehow my brain thinks the room should be totally clean before I drag my kits and/or photos out. Plus I decided to rearrange my bedroom furniture instead ( bedroom looks really clean now!)

I subscribe to SEI's monthly kit club, but don't always get them. I try to only get ones that I know I will actually use and if I won't, I "skip" for the month. I have also gotten a few from Piggy Tales and one from Paper Poppy (still trying to find one that fits my style) They are allfiled away in large ziploc style bags in a basket with my other "kits" and PP stacks.

I do chronological albums, but don't always go in order. I have an Iris case that I put the pages in as I finish them to keep them in order and then about half way to 3/4 of the way thru the year I go pick up 2 albums (yes, it takes 2 for each year) and start putting them in the album. I don't really have any unfinished projects ... just ongoing (oldest daughter's school year album) or finished albums in need of a couple more specialty sheet protectors or an actual album to hold the pages in(like my mini heritage albums).

I have decided that I need to get some sort of case to keep all my calendar related items as well. In our family album I do a calendar page and the facing page has either a collage or a couple random pictures from the month. Then all the layouts from that month follow. So I have lots of calendar related stickers and blank calendar pages.

I have a small list I keep here at my desk as I figure out what items I need to pick up to help organize/store my stuff so I can get things a little bit at a time as we have the money.

After a few week hiatus I am back at it. So far I have 28 projects, which is crazy I need to get busy.
Past weeks, paper & scraps are done, I use cropper hopper verticals divided by color.
Photos were already organized
Ideas are what I'll be tackling the rest of this week.
My room is starting to look pretty good

OK - First I have to say BRRRRR!!! to the all the snow and freezing temps some of y'all have had. It's gotten down to the upper 50's overnight here, and I thought THAT was cold. I have pulled out my sweats and warm blankets and was all bundled up on the couch last night! I would never survive north of the mason/dixon line!

As for project organization - I have done nothing other than just think about all the great things I could do with all my projects and unfinished items. It seems that by the end of the day, I would rather just sit and watch a recorded episode of NCIS than pull out a bunch of projects. Maybe tomorrow I'll get going on it!

I'm baaaaaaaaccck!!! LOVED Florida. But did not love the temperature drop over the past 24 hours. 90's yesterday to low 50's today. BRRR!!! But hey, at least it's not snow!! Hope you didn't get hit too bad artist-ju!

I have to get back in the swing of things, but first I need to fix this disaster of a house. What is it about living in a hotel for a week that makes you truly appreciate the clutter free approach to things?? I'm thinking purging things this week might be a little easier with that in mind.

Jer is going as Batman for Hallowe'en. I just hope my MIL can hem his costume in time! We forgot to drop it off before we left

The snow was supposed to be gone today. It's not. Had to drag out my winter coat

I was bad today. I have three weaknesses (that I will name for now) paper, bling and...(whispering)stamps. I bought an eensy, weensy, little bit of all three today ITS NOT MY FAULT!! How was I to know Walmart was going to redo their scrapbooking section and bring in every K and Company paper pad ever made? And seriously my boss knows my weakness for stamps and bling, I'm sure she orders it in on purpose.

Kris so sorry about the temp drop. We went to Cancun one winter left the 80 degree weather and returned to -10!!!

Jen - I confess I bought some of each today today too Had a coupon and went into M's for two things of metallic craft paint for Thinking Inking and stamps were 40% off and paper the good stuff was 4/$1. I am not going back until January. I will send my DH when I need an item. Actually they should have a pre-order drive through window to prevent just this sort of thing.

LoveRibbons,

I was going to stop in at M's, good thing I didn't. I agree they should have drive through windows for getting just the stuff you came for.

LoveRibbons - OMG! Drive thru's for M's (and Walmart) would be a fabulous idea!! I would save SO much money that way!! I am going to have to make a stop though in the next couple of days. My new favorite journlaing pen went through the wash and is now kaput

Crisann - Sorry about the S/O troubles Boys are a strange species ... Sometimes I just shake my head at some of the things DH says and we agree to disagree. Are the bookshelves back yet??

ScrappnBee - WOW!! Your layouts for this Glee challenge are getting better and better!! So which one did you choose to submit??

So is everyone ready for the trick or treater's on Sunday??

Kris -what is your fav journaling pen? I cannot find one I like. Is there a pen week because that might be another vacation week. Have at least 4 sets of SU pens

Halloween -nope. Going to buy candy today. Kids are at college.

ScrappnBee where are your most recent versions?

Crisann- yes just where are those shelves? And the chimney guy came and I now have heat although DH is away and I could just crank up the furnace but noooooo we have agreed to use the wood stove

Weaser - I am hoping for an NCIS marathon so I can procrastinate on photo organization which is in the dining room which does not have a TV

Artist-Ju - and the snow is melted and there is none coming my way right????

It was a Sakura brand, but it also had another name which I can't remember. It had a beige barrel, and it was a .03 point pen so it was perfectly fine and so smooth to write with .... Oh well. It was only $2 with a M's coupon so as soon as I get another coupon, I'll pick up another one.

No candy here either yet. I was afraid I'd eat it all before my vacation Will have to pick some up tonight I guess.

Kris74, maybe your pen is the Sakura Micron? I love those pens. Scrappin usmc, I am also finding more "page kits" as I search thru my stuff - I started out thinking that I didn't have much in this week's challenge, but I'm finding more and more papers that I've put together for layouts. (I'm hoping that somewhere along the line, I'll be able to catch up - haven't even started on the ideas week...)
Hope everyone has a productive day...Maria

Lovesribbons- it is burried up further in the thread but I'll post my most recent again Kits part 1 (round 3) here! If I can get my act together I will have part 2 and a LO online by the time I go to bed tonight.

Kris74-great to have you back! I guess a Disney Album is in your future! Sorry about your pen. It is always so hard to find the perfect pen! I chose the rodeo layout. I figured...country music theme and all!

artist-ju- congrats on your new finds! Sorry about the cold weather. I'd rather snow than rain though. Nov 1st starts the official rainy season here, and it will heep raining until June!

prcfn- at least you are still plugging along. (I have pretty much ignored Ideas week for 2 rounds now!) Don't stress it too much. You can do it!

Scrappin Judy-My house too! I wish it was self cleaning...

Scrappin usmc- I am proud of you getting Christmas cards started! Is christmas coming? I am not ready!

UK Heli-you let us know when you are ready to tackle, and we'll cheer you on!

I'm here & getting on well!
I have sorted my "kits & projects" type things and have found:
* 1 half-finished BPS Class project - must get on & finish that at some point
* some papers & ribbons for a recipe album - so I guess a kit!
* some leftover papers from a project that I really should add a few more bits to
* a minibook that just needs the pictures added
* a half-finished travel journal with everything there to finish it
* the papers for a month by month project I'm working on this year (I'm only up to April, but I blame that on moving house!)
* and 6 pages that I did in classes at various points & never actually used in my albums because they aren't relaly my style at all - but I will figure out a way to use them

I have them all coralled in a cubby of my expedit and WILL get round to finishing them!!

question of the week:
do you subscribe to a monthly kit club? not this month, but I have in the past
do you leave kits together or organize them into your stash? leave them together until I use most of it. Then it gets separated out into the stash
do you put kits together from your stash? Yes.

checklist of things to do during week 8 -

1. read the week 8 post on wookiemouse's blog. DONE
2. answer the question of the week on this thread. DONE
3. organize your projects, unfinished pages, and kits. DONE

Let me tell you about my love/hate relationship with monthly kits. We have a year maternity leave here in Canada. On my leave, DS was the best napper - EVER! So my house was clean and I got to scrap. EVERY DAY!! When I went back to work, I found not only did I have more $$ in my wallet, but I had a LOT less time on my hands, and no time for "me" shopping. Enter kits. O.M.G.!! One of the first kits I ordered was Cocoa Daisy's one of "Ali (Edwards) favorite things". I was so hooked. And continued to buy at least 3 kits a month! (It was actually cheaper for me to buy kits then just products through online stores because of the shipping charges - go figure!) Why I thought I had enough time to use all these supplies, I have no idea. But then with all of this talk of supporting LSS and tons of them closing in the US, I started feeling a wee bit guilty. I don't think I had even walked into mine for over 9 months!! So I quit most of the kits, only kept the ScrapRoom until recently and now I have over two cratefuls of kits just waiting to be used.

I do USE my kits. ALL the time. But there's been such a disproportion of input vs output going back the past couple of years that I need to do a huge purge to even think I'm going to get close to paring this down.

BUT for my projects list, I do something similar to Wookie. I have the jar with the popsicle sticks. I've also numbered 10 random kits. So on the sticks I have "kit #1", "kit #2", etc. alongside our various vacation themed albums etc. That way when I'm stuck, I'll grab a stick and just go. Sometimes it helps with the creative rut or being overwhelmed when I walk through the door of my room.

My projects I keep in a pile in various states. Albums I keep in a CM power sort box (I have three going right now), single pages that just aren't coming together are in those plastic 12 x 12 envelope thingys, by Generations I think?? I use the coloured ones for projects so I can pick them out. It's pretty organized overall. I just need to get a handle on the kits!

Prcfn - We can tackle ideas together as I haven't done it here yet either. I'm thinking I'm going to wait until pen week to tackle ideas And YES, that's exactly the pen!! I happenned to get some M's coupons yesterday so I might just pick up another one (or two )

Kris - great post! I think we go out shopping or online see things and get great ideas. Then comes the time and it is seldom there! Yesterday though I did realize that purchasing paper kits like the ones from Cosmo Cricket have their benefits. I am scrapping my son's baby pictures and picked up a partial set from Cosmo Cricket added a piece of Basic Grey and the whole layout appeared before my eyes.

So I have decided that any future purchases of paper may be in the form of kits from BG or Cosmo Cricket. I would like to try October Afternoon as well.I am still going to stay away from order club kits unless I could really use everything in them.

For the SU ladies - some of my markers have dried out. Any way to "rehydrate" them?

LoveRibbons - That was one (of the many) things I really like about kits. I get to "try" new paper lines/ companies without committing to entire paper lines. I've found so many companies that I really liked their designs and a lot more I really tried to work with and it's just not me.

I also really liked the idea of having embelishments that matched, but again, not committing to a whole package of something. Because I go on a couple of crops with my best girls, and we're there to chat and catch up more then we are there to scrap It's just so easy for me to grab several of my kits and go. I know everything goes together in the bag and I can put more effort into the conversation vs the scrapping.

I'm sure if you google or ask on the stamping board you'll get the answer re your markers. I hope they're not retired colours, just in case you have to replace them.

OK, I've got the kids' Halloween costumes done, now I can (finally!) get back to my scrapping/organizing efforts! What a relief!

I'm still working away at photos and ideas in those little bits and pieces of time, but my kits and projects will need a block of time. I should be able to do that Monday and Wednesday next week so I'll just be behind a week for a little bit.

question of the week:
do you subscribe to a monthly kit club? Yes, and I occasionally buy others, too.
do you leave kits together or organize them into your stash? So far, I've left them together for a very long time. But I've found that I'm not very good at using my kits. I tend to look to my stash first and forget the kits are there. Not sure if a better storage system would help with this habit or if I should just break them up after a certain time limit.
do you put kits together from your stash? Yes, but these often get forgotten as well and all too often I find myself re-buying some of the papers because I can't find them in my stash.

checklist of things to do during week 8 -

1. read the week 8 post on wookiemouse's blog. DONE
2. answer the question of the week on this thread. DONE
3. organize your projects, unfinished pages, and kits. On Monday's To Do list. For some reason, I am reluctant to do this with my DH around. I feel a need privacy or something. Silly.

First decision to make, I think, is how long to keep kits together. Then tackle breaking up the older ones. I just don't have enough room to store them all as kits.

I'm afraid to make a list of my unfinished projects. I am the queen of not finishing what I start. Sigh. Not so sure about the popsicle method from Wookiemouse's blog, but I do need something to remind me what I have started and stashed away. I'm thinking I need and index page of some sort. I work well with lists.

It's been a busy week so I haven't gotten around to the challenge until now. I don't think I've even opened the tread til today. OOPS!

Question of the week:
do you subscribe to a monthly kit club? Not currently. I've had plenty of kit club experience over the past 9 yrs. I found that unless I used them right away, they would be boxed up forever. LOL some of them are still taking up space here, but I'm actually using them now.

do you leave kits together or organize them into your stash?
I've left them together because it's easier for me to use them this way.
There are a couple times, I've gone thru and pulled out a paper or embellie for some other project, but for the most part, I leave them be.

do you put kits together from your stash? YES!!!
This works wonderfully for me. I've used quite a bit since I've been kit-ting my own stash. I've kit-ted plenty to sell, as well. Made plenty of $$ this summer at the flea market selling my stash kits!

checklist of things to do during week 8 -

1. read the week 8 post on wookiemouse's blog. Will do once I've posted this.
2. answer the question of the week on this thread. DONE
3. organize your projects, unfinished pages, and kits. a work in progress, mostly DONE

Back-tracking to the weeks I missed and this seems to be where I put the Challenge on the back burner.

Question of the week: Do you subscribe to a monthly kit club? Do you leave kits together or organize them into your stash? Do you put kits together from your stash?

No monthly kit subscription, just a CTMH habit. CTMH paper packs are keep together (PP only, CS removed and merged into CHs), labeled and stored alphabetically in a basket for easy access. Click here to see blog post for Week 8 during Round 2. I usually have 1 or 2 unfinished layouts hanging around and they just live on my desk ... in hopes of inspiring some creativity.

Since I didn't tackled these during Round 2, I'm adding unfinished (more like never started) "alterable items" to this week's tasks. I have 4 baskets in my Expedit and I'm going to dedicate one for all those items I pick up with the great intentions of altering them in some way (blank boxes & board books, giant clothes pins, plain containers & tins).

Since the "bird" is in the oven already and family doesn't arrive for another hour or so, I might just tackle the new "altered stuff" basket today.

checklist of things to do during week 8 -

2. answer the question of the week on this thread - DONE
3. organize your projects, unfinished pages, and kits - DONE
