DS's class needs 7 cookies per student so I'm trying to figure out how many packages we need before I ask for volunteers.

Thanks

read the package It will say how many cookies are in a serving (2 I think) and then how many servings are in the package. # per servings X #of servings = total # in box.

If you ask my husband, about two snack's worth.

If you google "Oreo package," surprisingly many pages come up with exactly your question. I see one that says 36, one that says 45. Maybe the 36 is for double stuff?

I have no idea, have you tried looking online? It would tell on the package how many are in a serving and how many servings are in a pack, hopefully someone on here will have a pack they can go look at for ya

I just looked at the package and it says 3 cookies per serving and approx. 14 servings or 42 cookies. 7 students per package. I would have an extra package to allow for breakage.

Yes, but I'm sitting in my office and wanted to figure it out without going to the store. I was figuring that surely there has to be at least 1 pea with a package of oreos that could check for me!

Thanks for researching for me!

Perfect! I knew there had to be a Pea with a pack of cookies! Off to recruit parents to supply oreos!

Well I only allow myself 3 cookies for a snack...and I've been known to eat a whole bag of those in one sitting...so my answer is 3 cookies.
