I did NOTHING tonight NOTHING! DH and I got home late and watched Toy Story 3. Seeing all the Little Tikes and Fisher Price toys made me sentimental as did the end - ok I did cry a bit

Lydia - Was Ali Edward's class worth it or not? As for the Big Shot I have wanted that electric one for awhile. With my hands it will be a lot easier than cranking the chipboard through so when I saw the online coupon I asked DH and he said go for it - that was before he had the repair bill on my car....Seriously though, I can barely even squeeze my cropadile anymore and I could use the corner chomper but worried that I won't be able to do that. Looks like a great tool. I almost put that in my basket. Everything scrapbooking was 40% off! If this was summer - I would have really gone shopping- too close to Christmas though.

Kris74 - SHUT UP - 2 shoe boxes full done! As for the class we will remind you! I thought May's class was in February too. She posted about it on her blog about a month and a half ago.

And yes I did lose my mind with three children in 3 years and 4 months - DS would have corrected me....sniff sniff and he is away at college and his toys are sitting in his room not used....why did I watch that movie??? He is so old he is applying to med school... and oldest DD is graduating from grad school in two weeks....sniff sniff. Youngest DD is leaving in January for a WHOLE semester abroad...sniff sniff.

I feel some baby pages coming on would be a good idea since not one of the baby albums is done. I was a little busy there for awhile

Kris, you got further along than I did. Way to go on 2 boxes!

I made it through one drawer, about 30 sets of stamps. It took awhile to decide on categories ... first I had too many, then I cut back to too few. I think the remaining drawers will go faster now that I have the categories in place.

I'd be stretching it to think I can get through the other 3 drawers over the weekend. Between a school craft fair, Girl Scout Christmas caroling, a piano recital and church, that doesn't leave much free time. Plus, mix in there that the in-laws just moved across country (arrived on 12/1), their moving truck arrived on Wednesday and I've been given the part of the good DIL who helps unpack whenever possible. Even if that means for just an hour between limo-driving children to different activities.

But one can dream, right?! I'm afraid to peek ahead to see what's up next on the weekly challenges.

Sorry Lisa, I peeked But it's crop supplies next week. I'll still be working on stamps though! Just to be clear, all I did was the stamping part. I still need to categorize and write on the index cards, but I have two lovely pile of index cards now on my desk.

WTG on the drawers Lisa!! So did you stmp 1 stamp per index card or more?? I have so many little stamps I was very tempted to just stamp a bunch on each card.

That movie was so sad, wasn't it LoveRibbons?? I loved that little phone!!

I'm off for the day making Christmas cards with some girlfriends today and then DH is taking me out for dinner to celebrate my exam results.

Oh Kris, I think I've misled you to believe I did more than I actually did.

Based on Jen's fabulous idea, I decided to photo copy all my stamp sets instead of stamp each image on an index card. Last night I just listed all the sets in one drawer and created specific categories for each set. Once I get through all the drawers, I'm going to go through my CTMH Idea Books and photo copy the set images from the book, then trim the copy out to fit on a rolodex card.

The thought of stamping each image and then having to clean each stamp just made me ill. Jen's idea seems so much easier since I have all my sets in Idea Books already. I will stamp each image of the few non-CTMH sets I have, so I'm not totally off the hook. Although I think I might still have the SU booklet that showcases the XMAS set I purchased from them. MS stamp sets are a different story. Maybe I can find them online.

I'll try anything to get out of stamping each individual image!

Congrats guys on the progress! Sorry about the fevers and illness (esp. toncilitus!!!) Sorry about being MIA! My SIL had her baby on Monday, Both of DS had birthdays this week, I had to work Fri night. Today my middle DS had first confession, has a birthday party in an hour, the others have Christmas Children's Choir practice, and my DH is no help because he is at drill!

Therefore I am scrap mess making and not organizing! However, I am a crop pro, so I guess that if I am going to catalogue those stamps, then next week will be it!

LoveRibbons - Ali's class is definitely worth taking. I simply wish that I had scanned my childhood photos (yesterday) before the class started. I had my 3 boys in 3 years and 9 months and the littlest was just turning 3 during the class. Not sure why I thought I'd have the (uninterrupted) time to get the scanning done. One thing that I want to do with all this organizing is give my scanner a permanent home so I can scan a bit here and a bit there. It's the only way I can get anything done!

ScrappnBee - I'm tired just reading what you've got going on IRL! Jealous that you have a new baby in your life - wish we could bottle that new baby smell to savour as they grow up!

Congrats to everyone who got some indexing done last night!

LydiaInk-it is easy to savor from afar. SIL and her kids will be moving in with us in March when her DH (my BIL) goes to Iraq! Then this place will be hopping as we have a then 3mo old, 20 mo old, my 6yr old, my 8 yr old and my 12 yr old...then my DH goes to Iraq in Aug! I have a feeling that the smell of babies and their diapers will get old soon enough!

Lydia - WOW! You still have little ones and get so much done! I have all my pictures scanned in along with ones of my mother, father, DH's parents and DH's great grandparents so perhaps I can get something done. Am not getting much done for Nic Howard's class which I AM SO LOVING. Tomorrow after church I am planning on a marathon to catch up as this is the last week. Nic has worked so hard for us that I want to post something decent in the gallery for her.

ScrappnBee you need a big hug! WOW! Thank you for giving up so much of your life to let your DH serve our country! I am so impressed!

Stamp Organizing - I was thinking more about it. I know what I have that is not the problem. I just do not know where it is. Well some of it. I have some sorted by brand like my Magenta stamps and Outlines rubber stamps because I think of those separately like BG paper but other things just need to be grouped together and the sentiments are still out of control. Tomorrow is another day! Ooops and another task...
