Welcome to the last class for die cutting this year.
This month class features ideas on incorporating die cutting in your holiday decor by die cutting through materials such as felt, stickyback canvas and fabric paper.
Click here for class photos, pdf handout and the class video.
CHALLENGE: Use your Sizzix die cutting machine to die cut through mediums other than paper (i.e. fabric, felt, canvas, fabric paper, etc.) to create holiday or everyday decor for your home. Upload your project to the Two Peas gallery, make sure to check the box next to this class when you do, and you will automatically be entered in a drawing to win a prize from Two Peas! Please note in the comments section what you die cut (this makes it easier for others to learn from your examples)! Thank you!
Upload your project to the 2peas gallery by January 4, 2011 to be entered to win a Gift Certificate from 2peas.
If you have any questions or want to link us up to your project(s) in the gallery please post on this thread.
Happy Holidays!

Oh wow, these are so cute. Thanks! |
| When I went to edit my signature, the "Edit Signature" title was spelled wrong. So that was distracting and I forgot what I wanted my new signature to be. | |

Wow! I think I made it in under the wire! I was coloring this last night. I so wanted to get this project done. I have 3 more frames that I will be adding to this one and I am going to paint the frames black. But it's done!
Before I link I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to you Nichol!!!!! This class was A-MAZE-ING! While I may not have gotten my projects in every month. I did do them or put the technique aside for ideas for a later date. You are an INCREDIBLE teacher and we are so very blessed that we get to take classes for FREE with you on this incredible site. Thanks Nichol. YOU ROCK DUDE!!!
Nativity Scene (I should add that I was inspired by Nichol not only when I saw her project but when I saw THIS! While I don't have any of those stamps I knew I wanted to do something similar. When I found the digital cut files online I was bound and determined to figure out how to get them on paper so I could color them. It was a fun process and an incredible creative journey for me.
Thanks Nichol!!! |
