I am getting a new king size bed, I already have the mattress and box spring...I also have a full gym size Arc Trainer in my bedroom, a large heavy dresser etc. I don't have plans to replace the carpet just yet, but I definitely will want to in the next year or so. HOW will I do that with such large heavy stuff?
Can carpet installation people move it around? Like do half the room first then the second half? I'm guessing moving the furniture is the home owners responsibility right? Would the room have to be EMPTY? That's probably impossible with the arc trainer and king size sleigh bed.

You will need to empty out the room. You can hire moving men or help of that sort to come for just an hour to move it before the installation and then after the installation to move it back.
It can't be impossible to empty out the room, what would you do if you moved? You will need to take the bedframe and exercise gym apart. Most moving companies will at least do the bedframe for you, but you will pay for it. It is not that hard. If it got into the room somehow it can get out.

We got new carpet a few months ago and one of the questions was what furniture would they have to move. This was through Home Depot.
(Our area was new construction, so sorry to not have any info on how much it would have cost)

Yup, you gotta clear the room before installation.

I'm less worried about the bed. Like I said I haven't bought it yet, it's coming next month so I will see about taking it apart once I get it built. The Arc Trainer I have no clue about, it took 3 men to get it into my house so by impossible I meant impossible without having to hire someone from Gym Source to come and move it. It's a real bummer, we probably should have thought about wanting to replace the carpet before we went and got so much heavy stuff.
