Wow- haven't really checked here the past few days, and look at us on page 3!
I'll have to catch up on all the chatter later. Just wanted everyone to know that I completed 4 pages, so far, for my JYC/December Daily album. I know it's not much, but for me to do any work at all, while my husband and children are home, is a major accomplishment. And the real shiny spot to my Saturday, is that they let me scrapbook at the kitchen table.

So, I'll be cropping here tomorrow. See ya then!

susan - that works! i wasn't really planning anything extravagant, you know... just thought that whoever was around could scrap/chat... like i said earlier, sunday seems to be "my studio day" - it's really the only day that i don't have much going on here.

lisa - go you! progress is progress, my dear - it doesn't matter how much or how little... just remember, i accomplish less than anyone here - i'm a combination of slow and very easily distracted.

so, i cleaned all the protective oil off my metal stamping tools - that'll be my picture of the day tomorrow, if anyone's curious... lol...

we spent most of the evening at s/o's parents' - ordered pizza and bs'ed w/ them. i skimmed through my metal stamping book. his dad, surprisingly, did too.

i'm making a list of jewelry making stuff i still want/need... i still want another alphabet stamp set - lowercase arial and the punctuation set in the same size. i also need some more blanks (the pieces you actually stamp on) and texture hammers. eventually, i need a really good set of pliars.

tomorrow, it'll be back to our regularly-scheduled scrapbooking edition of "the life of crisann." lol...

have a nice night, ladies!

I'm realizing that Ihave a TERRIBLE memory, and now that we're off page 1 I have to figure out another way to keep everything straight.

OK, so let the crop begin ... LOL. What's everyone going to work on today??

Lisa - I'm that way too, I need DH and DS to leave me alone for a day to get my scrappy mojo going. Good for you for getting so much done!! It's tough when there's so many distractions at home, and luandry always calling your name. I'm, much more productive at crops.

Cristi - So someone got to bed at a decent hour for a change Glad you're enjoying your new obsession. Can't wait to see what you're creating!!

Susan - I LOVE your neutral page!! I think I'm put the colour class on hold (for now). I know what I want to do with both the blue and purple pages, but I don't have decent pictures for them. And orange, well, I just keep looking at that page and I get nothing. No inspiration at all.

kris - yep, i'm having the same problem, at this point. lol... once we're off page 1, i can't just scroll up anymore to see what i'm replying to. that's why i said this was too much to wrap my head around that one night. lol...

i need to do my p365 and my journal, then i have a lo in my head b/c he got me a picture of the ns training center and i took a picture of all his packed bags before he left.

if i make it that far, it's back to me: tav.

oh, and i have to go to the grocery store, real quick, with him today. i'm hoping he'll forget, but i doubt that.

I have to admit that is one chore we do not cooperate well on. Grocery shopping. It started with one trip eons ago when we were arguing about buying strawberries out of season. One, he was pissed that I was willing to spend over $5 on strawberries and two, because they were out of season and not very good. Well, I was having a huge craving for the berries and nothing would substitute. From then on, unless absolutely necessary, we do NOT go grocery shopping together.

kris - i try not to go to the craft stores w/ him b/c that's just asking for trouble, but i grocery shop w/ him b/c we have completely different taste in food, so... i like fruits and veggies and whole grains. he's a meat and potatoes kind of guy.

mel - psst! over here - this is where we are. lol...

so, i was thinking about something this morning, while i was doing our thread for the new week - if we did one thread a month, it'd, probably, be a 20-pager. lol...

luvs2lillboyz - Yay for you! Join us today where ever we are.

Crisann - that metal stamping sounds really interesting! Glad you are getting to bed earlier I agree let's just keep this low key and just do the splashy crops once a month.

Kris - Thanks for the compliment I am copying some of your neutral lo into my purple and then I caught up other than the tags. DH and I only grocery shop together in BJs where he has the membership. Had a very similar argument many, many years ago.

I am leaving for Sunday School and church shortly and then we just have
to run into Staples for ink. Have fun cropping!

OK here we are! LOL! I have DH doing some small "honey do list" stuff. Then I'll be able to actually scrap some.

DH and I don't shop together...ever! He doesn't buy anything, I want everything, it doesn't work well, LOL!

judy - i believe i/we/others have already told you several times what me: tav is on this/other threads.

it's stands for "me: the abridged version" - it was a class cathy z taught.

alright, judy - let's try this...

maybe, if i *show* you, instead of *tell* you, the abbreviations will make more sense:

this is me: tav.

this is dyl.

if you click on the links, they'll take you to the information pages for the class.

is that better?

i hope so! and i'm sorry if my previous comment sounded rude - it wasn't intended to be...

LOL- I used to let DH do all the grocery shopping, but I found that if he did it all by himself, I'd never have anything to eat. So, now he goes once every 2 weeks, by himself, then the next time, I go to get food I will eat. I'm much better at planning out a month of meals for myself that way.

Okay, yeah, that me:tav thing. It's still sitting in the binder. I have a couple things filled out, but that's all. Then, I decided I want to do the creative retreat w/ May Flaum on BPS, rather than the LOAD w/ Lain. I can't possibly make myself do a layout a day, short month or not. It would be nice to get her prompts and I think she has sketches, too. Who am I kidding?! I have another day to think on it...

Mel- did miss how many LO's did you do at the crop? Good for you to put all your stuff away afterwards. Mine just sits around til the next crop...LOL
