Support for our member-driven stamping events, like Winterfest 2011. Such as:

* Provide a "Winterfest 2011" banner that we can use to advertise or promote the event on our personal websites.

* Provide a "Winterfest 2011" badge that gets displayed during the event and on our Profile pages.

* We would love it if there were a second Winterfest Praise badge, that tallied how much praise someone leaves on other people's gallery posts during the event. Sort of a Winterfest Praising Peas badge, in addition to the usual Winterfest Playing Peas badge.

* A prize or prizes to recognize Praising Peas at random (and maybe also the top 5 or so praisers) ... the ones who leave comments on others gallery posts during the event.

* Consider perhaps supporting the Stamping Peas who sponsor challenges, so that if they choose to give one or more Two Peas Gift Certificates to randomly selected winner(s) of their challenges, you will match that (either with a matching number of gift certificates and amounts, or with sponsor prizes), so that there can be more random winners and more fun.

* Recognize the Stamping Peas who sponsor challenges, perhaps by spotlighting some of the challenges in Two Peas e-mails, newsletters, or maybe a special Winterfest blog?

* Recognize the Peas who participate in challenges, by featuring their challenge entries in Two Peas e-mails, newsletters, or maybe a special Winterfest blog?

That's all I can think of off the top of my head...

Thanks for your feedback, Anne!

I'd also love any thoughts on what you would like to see as far as content we provide - lessons, videos, etc!

I love Anne's ideas--especially the ones about people who leave praise in the galleries.

About lessons and videos, whatever they are, they need to involve the use of stamps.

I would like to see classes and/or videos where stamping is combined with non-stamping techniques. Stamping and photos, stamping and metal work, stamping and paper piercing (not piecing which we've already done), stamping and paste embossing, etc.

I'll link this thread to the master thread and to a new thread about classes/lessons/videos. Hopefully, more people will see it.

Thanks, Anne, for the Pea-mail heads-up!

Two Peas is also collecting suggestions on Facebook, but they seem to be more from the point-of-view of Scrapbookers and not Stampers. So I'd love to see more ideas from the Stamping Peas!

Something like 1 stamp-3 ways. Using stamps that are versatile and can be used for cards, creating background paper, elements on a layout, party favors, etc. I think people are more apt to buy something that can be used for a variety of things. But, that's probably not a very creative idea...just seems fun to me

You could do an entire event on digital stamps, too. They can be used to print just one and color and make a card or an element, and they can also be used to make background paper. I buy a ton of stamps that are rubber, but often when an image is available digitally, I will buy it that way because it's instant gratification...I love that I don't have to wait for it to arrive via snail mail...it's immediately available and ready to use via email and/or download.

I think a "One Stamp, Many Looks" lesson would be great. I'm more likely to buy something if I know many ways that I can use it...

i would like to see how-tos on adding dimension to my stamped images.
such as flower soft, embossing for texture and also for shaping...and other ways that i haven't even thought of.
thanks for asking, sandi

Great ideas already here. WinterFest 2011 is just 2 weeks away. The promo banners and blog signs are needed immediately to encourage non-regular peas to participate we need to be talking it up right now. I hope they can be posted soon.

The Peas who frequent the Stamping Forum have coordinated 2 annual stamping events since 2008. I takes a tremendous amount of volunteer energy to make a fun time for all the participants. Many of the items prospurring/Anne mentioned are supports we have received in the past. I hope we have 1 single coordinated event with all details on the stamping forum.

Thanks Jamie for trying to please all of us!

I especially like technique videos, or showing multiple ways to use a supply as I tend to forget why I bought that particular glue or paint or ink! You make a stamping class or video, any topic, and I can just about guarantee I will watch it!
Thanks for asking.

Lots of great ideas here. I think a lot of people get put off many stamping techniques thinking they have to buy certain specialist supplies, so I would like to see

more ways of using basic supplies to get different looks

suggested alternatives eg different types of inks that can be used to give the same effect

ditto using a stamp/product in different ways

Anything technique I love to see a video!

Love everything already said but
not to recap on anything but here are the main things I'd like to see:

a button/badge for that event to help promote

chats on the message boards

tutorials for some new product of techniques

thanks! super excited about all the events!
