I love crops. I like having all of those hours in a row to get stuff done. When I scrap at home I always feel like I should be doing something else, like clean my house. I don't feel guilty at a crop- it is me time.

I also enjoy the social aspect of it. I have a group of women that I crop with once a month. Once or twice a year I go to a weekend retreat, too. I really look forward to it. It is so much fun.

I like going to all day crops because I get so much done. I'm great at packing and unpacking and can make it to/from my car in one trip, even with a Cricut E. While I do like going with my friends, I will go solo if they're not available. I just went to a crop recently and got 10 pages done and I was only there 7 hours.

For me it's mostly about the yap...and a little bit about the scrap

I am lucky that in my area there are a number of organizations that do fundraising crops throughout the year. Most are fairly cheap and I feel that the money is going to a good cause. I have met a lot of really nice scrap friends and so we usually get together at least once a month or more. Occasionally I'll do a crop at an LSS. I go into a crop not expecting to get much done, and if I do then it's a bonus!

I usually don't go to a crop unless it's at least 8 hours long just don't want to pack stuff for less than that. But, most of my stuff is in two big rolling tool boxes so I just load some paper in a paper keeper and I'm ready to go.

I try to make it to at least one 3 day crop a year sometimes 2. It's time for me to see friends and make new ones. I live along kids are grown and I love the chance to spend time scraping, card making and talking to people.

I'm very shy and don't do well in social settings so the idea of a crop is just alien to me.
Why would I pack up my supplies to go somewhere unfamiliar to be surrounded by strangers where I would then feel pressured to scrap?!

I like the comfort of my own home where I know I will always have what I need close at hand. I'm a slow scrapper so I'm ok with starting a LO, walking away and coming back to it a week later if I feel like it. No pressure!

I haven't been to a crop in several years. I do agree that alot was about the socializing, but also time to yourself to get scrapping done without constant distractions.

The friends I went to crops with lost interest...

I hate going to crops alone, so I stopped going...miss them as I LOVE to talk about scrapbooking with others who do it. My DH & DS's love the pages I do, but talking to them about scrapbooking is NOT the same!!

I LOVE to talk about scrapbooking!!

I really enjoy weekend crops. There is no way I would spend that much time scrapping in a weekend if I were at home - I get caught up watching TV or I start cleaning something, etc. I get a lot of work done plus there's the bonus of spending the weekend with some friends. I pack for a single project - I'll grab the papers and coordinating embellishments and trim I plan to use along with my pictures. My regular tool kit, cricut a couple of idea books and I am good to go. If I don't dawdle, I can be packed in about an hour, hour & a half.

once in a while, I go to an evening crop at a local school - they are really just a non-dining alternative to seeing friends. I'll bring some assembly line type project like making cards that uses minimal supplies & tools.

I like going to crops. I go to one weekend a year (wish it was more)and then do some day crops. I don't spend weeks getting ready. I just bring way too much stuff. It does take some time to pack and decide what pictures to take and make sure I have most of what I need. What I don't have I will get while I am there.

I really like it because I am a stay at home Mom. I do have my own space and it is best for me to scrap while they are at school but that doesn't always happen. It's just a get away for me. They call me when it is time for breakfast, lunch and dinner...that is my favorite part. I do all the cooking and cleaning at home, so that is a real treat! I get to socialize and get to do my favorite hobby uninterrupted!!

I love all day and weekend crops. I usually go by myself. When I started scrapping, I did not know anyone that scrapped. After 5 years, I have made some great friends through the different crops. If I am not sitting with some one I know, I bring my ipod but I can talk to anyone. I like crops because with working full time and 2 little boys I do not have time to crop.

I LOVE Crops! I actually polled DH while reading this to see if HE thought that crops were worth it, and he said YES!
BTW- He gave me a CKC weekend as a Christmas present knowing that he would have to parent our 3 kids alone all weekend.

I go to a lot of crops by myself, but I am not shy. Packing doesn't take too long, and I often find that the creativity of others actually steps up my scrapping! I especially like the overnight ones because 11PM to 4AM I am IN THE ZONE! That never happens at home...as breakfast is expected at 7!

I like going to an all day crop at a scrapbook store more than the weekend crops. I don't need to pack as many page kits and if I forget something, I can usually buy what I need in the store.

I also find that I can only focus on scrapping for about 6 or 7 hours, then I'm ready to call it a day.
