I have only seen it online or at an expo. Probably some LSS's would have it also. Not at Hobby Lobby either. Not a M's or J's in my area.

You can make your own. Check out the youtube videos. All you need is a circle punch and a scoreboard. So simple!

I have never seen these dies before.
It wasn't until I did a tutorial on how to make these Paper Medallions
There are some different names for these flowers, accordion flowers, Rosettes, medallions.

They would be so easy to do with Tim Holtz die, but you are limited to that one size.

I found mine at the LSS. Haven't seen it at any of the big box stores.

You can get some really nice effects, though, just making your own with scoring tools and edge punches.

Seriously, I need the die. I've been searching everywhere for it as well. I tried the score board and mine still do not come out. I borrowed the die - one of my friends has it - and was able to out one together. So I must be stupid when it comes to making them by hand.

I love how they look but I'm not going to work myself up over them. I need the die as well. Its one that always sold out. Guess they need to think about making more of them.....

but you aren't limited to that size. all you have to do is cut a narrower sheet of paper and your flower is instantly smaller!

Thanks Tracy for the great tutorial! I rather follow your method than buy a specific die to make the rosettes, as I have the score board and punches at home already. Way to save money!

johnmac44, I got the die at Archivers. If you don't have one nearby, maybe you could try their new online store?

The die makes it so easy, plus now there is a new mini rosette die coming out. The mini one looks like a great size! Haven't tried it yet, but looks great!

I just got the die from e-bay. I have tried to make the rosettes by hand and I am not that patient. When I start folding my scores are not all EXACTLY the same size & I get frustrated, so I got the die. I use a cuttlebug and it works tooo good. The perforations to fold cut really well and my rosettes tear, but I am trying now to work that out. I have still made quite a few with heavy paper. I love it!!

He's coming out with another rosette die in a different size. He mentioned it on his blog.

I love the TH rosette die. To avoid tearing at the perforations, apply a strip of thin tape (cheap gift wrap tape) BEFORE you accordion fold.

I created a cut file for this if you have an electronic die cut machine. The SCAL file cuts the score marks for you, so you only need to accordian fold it. Please ignore the ugly green paper I used to demo the cut. Here's the original post with the link.

Since I previously posted, I figured out how to convert my cut files to SVG files in SCAL, so here's the link for the rosette SVG file.. I'm not sure if other die cut machines cut dotted (score) lines or not, so I can't guarantee how easy this will be to fold.

I like the electronic version because you can resize it if you like, which you can't do with the sizzix die. Hope you find this useful.
