Welcome to the 3rd installment of Products You Love Every Which Way!
This lesson is all about...
BUTTONS
Buttons are an embellishment that never go out of style. You can use buttons that are 100 years old...or brand new. You might think buttons need to be stitched on to your page, but they don't! I personally don't have the patience for hand-stitching so I like to find other ways to incorporate buttons...lots of buttons! Now buttons are being incorporated into your favorite embellishments as well. You can find them on clips, 3-D embellishments, as flower middles, printed on stickers, or even made out of chipboard. This month I have 3 layouts sharing a few of my favorite button techniques. Dig in to your jar of buttons & let's play!
You can see the Class & download a PDF here .
As always we'll have a challenge associated with the class. Here's the info:
This month your challenge is to create a layout/card/project on which you've used BUTTONS. Try to use them in a way you never have before!
To participate in the Challenge:
-Create a project on which you've used BUTTONS.
-Project can Digital, Traditional or a Hybrid.
-Submit your layout by uploading to the gallery by April 9, 2011 11:59 CST. Don't forget to click the box next to this class (Products You Love Every Which Way: March 2011) on Step 4 of uploading.
I will pick a winner randomly from all the submissions to win a Gift Certificate to Two Peas and post the winner on the Education Board on April 10th. For every submission to this class you will earn a badge!
Please let me know what you think! I can't wait to share this adventure through our stashes with you!
A special thank you to the guest designers this month!

Shannon just wanted to say I loved the video and all your ideas.
I just picked up one of those 12 X 12 Doodlebug frames yesterday for a project I recently finished, (another class here on 2 Peas a couple of years ago) 'The Edge of the World' by Loretta Grayson' and am going to go back and get an 8 X 8 frame. That framed button heart is too cute, love the dimension the buttons give and all that colour
I have so many buttons from when I first started scrapping, about 9 years ago, that I never use so this class has given me so great inspiration, thank you. Can't wait to start on my button heart | |

Thanks Shannon. I made a major dent in some buttons I have had for years last night, including ones I never thought I would use.
Even more importantly I used buttons that were "too good" to use. You know, the ones you can't bear to waste!
I'll be uploading my layout later. |

Well, I didn't get the box marked for the class & can't go back & do it now, but I'll just post it here.
Thanks for the all of the great ideas that provided in the video - even though I didn't use them all yet, I'm pretty sure that I will.

Thanks Shannon
I haven't scrapped in a while and this tutorial and challenge was the perfect way for me to get my mojo back. Scrapped a page last night.
Here is my page for this challenge.
