I've been praying for your country and the people since I first heard about it (that'd be when first on the news here). and will continue to.
it is just heart breaking to see the devastation on the news - and the people who have lost loved ones, their homes etc.
Many US ministries have//are sending money, food, water, water filtration units, medical aid etc
Samaritan's Purse released $200,000.00 immediately to churches/ministries they knew in your country. That was just an initial amount for water, blankets, food until they could get much, much more in there. They are already filling a huge plane with supplies for your country. That was days ago so is probably already there at an open airport. They had already secured clearance to bring it and part of the $200,000.00 was to have trucks waiting to load onto and head to areas in need.
Operation Blessing has done the same. If you need anything please find a church or ministry with the supplies (food, water, clothes etc) you need.

On June 28, 1787, as Governor of Pennsylvania, Benjamin Franklin hosted the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, where he moved:
"That henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessing on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning."
Franklin wrote April 17, 1787:
"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin wrote his epitaph:
"THE BODY of BENJAMIN FRANKLIN - Printer. Like the cover of an old book, Its contents torn out, And stripped of its lettering and gilding, Lies here, food for worms; Yet the work itself shall not be lost, For it will (as he believed) appear once more, In a new, And more beautiful edition, Corrected and amended By The AUTHOR."

|"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.' That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic-on a level with a man who says he is a poached egg-or else he would be the devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him...or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He did not leave that option open to us. He did not intend to."

Thank you everyone, for your prayers!
I translated some of the prayers and shared on my blog.
And some of you asked me what else to do.
As a scrapbooker I would like to ask you to help us with your creativity - beautiful photos, layouts, cards, mini books... anything would be helpful. We watch TV everyday and we see horrible pictures and movies all day long, we need something beautiful to calm us down.

Oh Sweetie, many have been praying since the news first broke. Japan and its people are constantly in the thoughts of many.
My thoughts - even when I'm not consciously reminded - go to your Country.
As an example, this morning, I had to attend a meeting. When I arrived at the parking lot, a big tour bus was parked across 6 parking spaces. For an instant, I was annoyed, as I had to park my car quite a bit further away from the building - and walk 1/2 a block or so, in the rain!
Then - my annoyance immediately vanished,(and I was a little bit ashamed!) as I thought to myself "Lady, get a grip! Settle down! I bet the people of Sendai would love for this to be their biggest worry this morning - walking 1/2 a block in the rain!"
Your Country often rises to the surface of our thoughts, even as we go about our day. (((hugs))) for you all.
