Has anyone placed an order with stopandscrap.com?
Any reviews or opinions? Problems?

Yes I ordered from them several times last year. I was very happy with the customer service and ship time. They have some really good deals on new products.
If you are pre-ordering, just understand it might take a while to get your items. They show estimated dates of arrival and they update it if it takes longer.
I definitely recommend them.

I have, and it's been a good experience. Since their main business is pre-orders, it's a good thing to check their estimated ship times and policies so you know when to expect your package. Of course, a lot of it is entirely dependent on manufacturers, and they do try to keep everyone aware of changes in schedules (say, for example, when October Afternoon has delayed their shipments by a month or more).

I order from them quite frequently. They are great! If I don't order from here, I order from there. You won't be disappointed!

I've had a terrible experience there and since have founds others on blogs that will not use them again. I only have heard back from them afer numerous inquiries after threatening to call the attorney general in their state. I still after months am getting the run around and they still owe me about $100 in merchandise. I will NEVER shop at Stop and Scrap again!

|Posted: 2/13/2013 2:13:08 PM|I had a terrible experience with them. Placed two diff orders. Aug and Sep. I finally got them canceled last month. Don't know why they never got the items I wanted in a timely manner. I ended up ordering them somewhere else before I canceled my orders with SNS. These other places had them two months before I did this.

This post was originally from April 2011. Now sure why someone came along and bumped it after 2 years.
A lot has changed at stop and scrap in the last couple of years and most people are not happy with them anymore.

To me it seems they take much longer to get preorders in than just waiting and buying elsewhere in stock

|Posted: 5/2/2013 7:01:41 AM|They are absolutely HORRIBLE. I did not receive my order until two and half months later and only after I complained.
DO NOT order from them! HORRIBLE customer service

I ordered from them about a month ago and had great service. I think they have ironed out many of their issues.

Every time I ordered from them my package has taken months to get. They seem to always have an excuse. I ordered all in stock products on april 10th and here it is may 9th and it hasnt shipped yet! I will not be ordering there anymore.

My experience has been horrible as well. They will never get another dime from me....and havne't since early last year.
They are masters at excuses and completely ignoring any attempt at communication.

I am currently having a HUGE issue with them. They offer free shipping by combining your orders if they are on Pre-order. I placed one last month knowing it may take a bit and then added two additional, one of which I have been billed for and it is not reflected on my account. Their *contact us* link will not submit no matter what I try and I finally went a round about way to contact them and received a *service ticket number* link that doesnt even work. That was over two weeks ago and nothing. I am thinking of contesting my orders via Paypal.
NEVER AGAIN and I knew I had to wait for stuff.

|Posted: 5/20/2013 7:38:33 PM|Please, if anyone has problems with Stop and Scrap complain to paypal!! I ordered from them in March and all my items are in stock and I still have not gotten anything. They are an extremely fishy company, if they were a decent one you would be able to contact them somehow. Oh, and their whole preorder crap, well paypal wont let you make disputes on anything 45 days or more. So how many people have they scammed this way?? They have about $80 of mine. And it's not that I am impatient, its that I should have the items by their own words, and I don't. They will not respond to any emails I have tried to contact them with. Decent companies don't do that. This company is a scam. I have ordered from them before and they were awesome. But I now have 2 orders unfulfilled and will never shop there again.
|Posted: 5/23/2013 4:26:26 PM|The SAME thing is happening to me. I finally disputed through paypal and got a response THROUGH paypal; not email. No apology for lack of contact or anything. All of my stuff is still unfulfilled and I began my order in march.

|Posted: 5/23/2013 8:17:22 PM|Wish there was some sort of way to have a scrapper store report card.
People could go in and rate a company on their timeliness, customer service, pre-order delivery, etc and have a more unbiased way of getting information about a company before they order.
More than a few times I've come up empty handed when trying to research a company before I buy and a few times I've been disappointed.
Anyone know of a way? I'm sure there's a business model in there for someone if they're interested in running such a thing.
|Posted: 7/6/2013 1:40:24 AM|I have tried purchasing with them a few times and I just don't seem to learn my lesson.
The reason I order from them is that pre-order cost is good as is the shipping cost.
Now, and here it goes.... I am still waiting for orders from January and February. I ordered two 12x12 collections of Fairy Rhymes February 13th. It's now July and I haven't received them. I am a VERY patient person. I counselled in my past and give the benefit of the doubt, but this is ridiculous. Not only that, do you know how hard it is to find this collection now?? And the cost that goes with it is unbelievable.
I also ordered Sunrise/Sunset and haven't received the A4 Pad and the 6x6 buttons AND the wooden buttons to the set. This was ordered January 24th.
I've been in contact and have been told that they're waiting for the order to come in from Prima but I was also left with the feeling that it may never show up...they'll send it if they receive it. I was asked if I'd like a refund but I don't. I just want the paper.
I ordered these the first day that each came out on site for pre-ordering. I'm feeling that I should have received my order with no problem as I would have been at the top of the list.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I really need some help here!

I have had the worst customer service in my entire life from StopandScrap.com. No response in over 6 emails that I have sent in which I requested the refund that they promised to give me for returned merchandise. Yes believe it or not I once got a response allowing me to return the merchandise for a refund. The USPS tracking number shows they received the package over 5 weeks ago and even with my follow-up emails I still haven't received a response by either email or phone.
I find it peculiar that there is no contact information that includes the city, state or phone number where they can be contacted. They claim to be just a two person operation so be patient with them. Well I don't buy the excuse. Get some additional staff to assist your business. I will never do business with them again and would never recommend purchasing from them (even with the good prices) to anyone. They are just too unreliable in getting items shipped to you or responding to customer service needs. Sherri

Usually I order from 2Peas or Stop and Scrap. I have had excellent customer service from S&S over the last few years (as well as 2Peas)- very prompt and friendly replies to my emails. Since I had been using my daughter´s mailing address in the States, when I did try an order to Brazil (just a few months ago), S&S noticed immediately and wrote to ask if the address was correct before mailing anything, I kept them up-to-date when the package did arrive and the shipping rate was reasonable for the distance - we have had several friendly email converstions.
Orders from them may take months to arrive but that does not make a bit of difference to me. And they did very recently return to their original shopping cart host after many problems with the new one did arise.
