So in dressy shoes or loafers and such I comfortably wear a 6.5. In athletic shoes to work out in, I'm more comfortable in a 7. So what size Keen's should I order?

Looking at this style: Keen shoes

Not sure on color yet though... These are for casual wear and purple _is_ my favorite color.

The last time I bought some they seemed to be a little on the small side. I wear a 10-11 in closed toed shoes, depending on the brand. I ended up having to buy a men's pair because the 11's were too small, and they didn't make size 12. And if they had made a size 12, I probably wouldn't have bought them! You know, kinda like having to buy jeans a size bigger than usual because the brand runs small?

P.S. I'm 5'9". Not some super big footed freak.

I found them fairly close to "regular" shoe size. I wear size 9 sneakers and that's what I got in the Keens I just got. I love them!

Mine all seem to be the opposite of the other posters.

I wear a 10 and had to order a 9. My Mary Jane's are 10's and are slightly to big and they do run wider than most shoes. Unbelievably comfortable though.

I just ordered a pair ( on sale at REI) and I did order up. I would normally wear an 8. I knew I wanted to wear sock for walking so I ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfectly.
I'd go for they run just a bit small

do you have a place close by where you can try some keen shoes on before you order?

I have some summer sandals - like Teva's kind of. I wear an 8 and my sandals are an 8.

I have this exact pair, only in a different color. Tried on my normal size in the store and it was too small. Store didn't have any larger sizes, so I ended up ordering a half size larger from Zappos and they fit perfect. Love Zappos!

Order at least a half size larger than you normally wear.

The only shoes I own are Keens and I wear a size 7 and I find they run true to size. One pair is a woman's size 7 and the other pair (winter style) I bought in the kid's department. A kid's size 5 fits me perfectly.

The good thing about Zappos is you could order two sizes and ship back the ones that don't fit since shipping is free in both directions.

I also found they run a bit small. I saw a pair at a local thrift store that looked brand new for $10 a few weeks ago. They were way too small for me but someone was gonna get a heck of a deal!!
