Crazy, full, neat, over the top, organized, I could go on and on!
But I have to ask, 15 Cricut machines? Why does one need SO many? I see she has classes but geez.

I know another Pea that has 5 and Cricut sent them to her as demo's for classes and they never requested for her to send them back... at least not yet anyway. So she just has them... |

I was just going to ask the same thing. I've noticed a lot of utube videos where the crafter has more than one cricut expression PLUS the imagine and sometimes the cake too. not being sarcastic - just curious why one would need multiple expressions? |

I actually know this scrapper and she teaches Cricut classes in her home - hence all the machines and the big table.

. sort Dad's genealogy stuff
. try to finish up the several albums that are started; label them; move them downstairs where they can be enjoyed
. make mini albums

well if she teaches that would make sense, everyone or groups of people would have their own cricut to work with instead of having to wait to take turns...
That how it worked with the other Pea I talked about earlier also. |

Well seeing as she teaches I can see why she has soooo much and so many Cricuts..I wonder if she gets a tax write off for this stuff since she teaches..and I hope she has good house insurance just in case something happens cause a friend of mine (who had alot but not like this lady) lost everything in a fire
I also was thinking about how I dont have half of some on Youtube ago while watching YouTube scraproom vids and alot of people who dont teach have ALOT and thats great..I wish I had half what alot of people have but it got me to thinking it may be a bad thing for me at least cause I get overwhelm easy and having ALOT of stuff might make me not want to scrap..lol not sure that makes sense! |

I would be totally overwhelmed trying to scrap in there. I have a hard enough time trying to figure out which pp to use when I've got 20 lines to chose from; I can't imagine trying to go through what looks to be thousands of sheets of pp.
I'm not criticizing her, but I don't know how in the world she (or anyone) could keep track of what you've got when you have that much, kwim? She seems to have a well thought out room, and everything looks organized, but it's a lot.
I feel like a poor scrapper because I've got a little rolling cart with some pp, a few baskets with embellishments, inks and punches and 1 binder of clear stamps.

I think if I was just taking a class there, I'd be okay. Looks like a great place to learn about a lot of different things. But if I had to scrap there, and owned that many things I'd go nuts just from all the choices. Should I use this button, or that one? Should I cut out this font, or that? Is this shade better, or that one, or that one?
No, I don't need that kind of stress. |

Me, too. Plus I think it would be tiring to look at, at least for me. I prefer to have my items close to hand when I scrap, not spread out over a big space. I would find it very frustrating to have to go to a dozen different spots and pull things down from shelves just to get ready for one project.
It's funny - I thought I had an excessive amount of patterned paper - but my entire supply of paper and cardstock fits neatly into one cropper hopper trolley under my work table. I feel a lot better about my amounts after seeing hers.

While I'm a PC boycotter, I'm still using my products til they die. Wanted to get that out of the way.
She called it her Cricut collection. They are different colors. Perhaps she got them on black Friday sales or closeouts....I don't know. I just know that we all have our likes and dislikes of what we value and collect.
It would NEVER occur to me to collect Cricut machines, but I have collected many teapots and they are were not cheap. I've collected several other things, that collectively would dwarf her Cricut collection in monetary value. I have been selling and giving away my collections as we are older and have downsized, but I enjoyed my collections at the time.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If someone had 3 motorcycles or 3 boats or 12 high priced golf clubs or 5 tennis rackets or just 4 or 5 diamond rings....you get the picture (and believe me, I have NONE of those). What difference does it make if she is teaching, enjoying her craft, feeding her family and sharing her knowledge of the craft if she has a penchant for collecting something within her craft arena. People have been collecting things for ions.

Carol you may be right. it may be her "collection".
as far as it being for classes. I've been to cricut classes. 99.9% of the people there already own a cricut. the teacher brought 1-2 for those that requested one because they were deciding whether to buy one. She can only fit 4 people in the room for classes yet have 5 expressions AND a cake (which is essentially the same machine for most learning situations). oh wait plus the FOUR more at the corners of the tables??
I would like to know how she organized her patterned paper because it didn't appear to be labeled in any way.
and on a personal note that room is WAY too packed to be comfortable to me. the "amount" of product I have is way more than most scrappers here (but not as much as some) and it's already migrated to another room for sewing and general crafts because it was all too much for my small space. I'd love to purge about 1/3 of it as it is! |

Heidi, on that I agree. Not enough room to take a deep breath and move around. I store some of my extra in other parts of the house....and that is after I downsized. Not everyone, though, needs the roominess some of us need.
She seemed happy to share and I hate to see comments that make those who MIGHT have shared, NOT.

That is the first thing that caught my eye the first time I watched this. I couldn't take the unfinished aspect of it. That and it's a little too tight for me, but that could be taken care of with a smaller table. |

OMgosh 20 scrappers can go in that room and never use up the supplies in a life time. Thats too bad its a waste!
I posted a while back about someone I know that is either a hoarder or about to be.
WHY because she owns every cricut product and now sizzix and nestabilities.
Why does someone need every cricut ever made its really a sickness. I have always said I rather be dead then to be an addict.
and that includes scrapbooking. Honestly I did not watch the vid till the end |

To each their own.
Displayed my stuff takes a lot of space but most of it is "display" space, not packed into containers that are full like this room.
Packed, with the exception of my paper, my silhouette and my Big Shot, everything else I own, dies, embellishments, paint, misc supplies, etc., probably take about 5 decent size moving boxes and that is it. Add the paper and such to that and it would probably go to about 7 boxes. This has been "collected" over 14 years.
The money aspect of it gets me, but hey it is not my place to judge. I could not finish watching either though. |

My reaction was also 'wow' and not in a good way.
That is far far far too much stuff! I wonder if that form of organisation (ie stacking so much stuff in boxes under the table and in the corner of the room) works for her? It wouldnt for me - if I cant see it or get to it easily it gets forgotten about.
Also agree that its rather cramped and if the table was a foot smaller it would be alot better.
At one point she said "Im trying to hide something from you at the moment thats why your looking at the floor" I wonder what she was hiding? Or was it just the paper wall that she was saving for last?

If she can afford it and that is how she wants to spend her money that's up to her. I do wonder why so many cricut machines, even if she teaches classes, it seems a few more than you would need. But, as someone else pointed out, in the whole video, the thing that made me scratch my head and laugh, a little, was the big wooden word 'simplify'. I wonder if she picked that herself or if someone gave it to her as a suggestion.
