I tried searching but couldn't find anything on this software! I am not new to digital scrapbooking, I hve been using Scrapbook Max for amost 2 years now, but have been thinking of purchasing the CM software while it is still on sale.

Does anyone here use it and if so how do you like it?

Most of us use Photoshop or Photoshop Elements but there are a few CM people out there. Hopefully one of them will respond to you. I think most of them like it but those of us who use PS and PSE think you can do so much more in PS or PSE so we would rather use those programs.

Hi, Tina,

I use Storybook Creator. You purchase it through the Creative Memories website at www.creative

I love the software because it is fast and easy. It let's me sort all of my kits as well. I keep my PS software handy for some things, but this work great for quick layouts.

Wish the software had been on sale when I bought it!

I use the Creative Memories Storybook software and love it, as people who read this board frequently are probably tired of hearing me say.

However, I do know that they are going to release a new software version pretty soon. That is probably why it is 50% off right now. I do not know when the new version will be released (I am not a CM consultant, but I am on a few of their Facebook pages) and I don't even think they have told their consultants. However, some are speculating on one of the pages that it could be soon, like maybe even mid-September. They usually release new products the first day of every month, so a mid-September release would surprise me.

The last time they updated the software was awhile ago, maybe two years or so (I don't remember exactly) and then if you had an existing version of the software, you could buy the update for only $10 so that was a great deal. However, I don't know if that is what they will do this time or not. I sure hope so!

The existing software is really great (and I would think the new will be even better). It allows you to do many creative things. You can't do quite everything you can do on Photoshop Elements (I have that too and use it for photo editing), but I find the CM program much more intuitive and easier to use and learn. I can use digital kits from places like Two Peas as well as the Creative Memories stuff. About the only thing you can use in PSE and not in Creative Memories is the templates (unless you buy the CM templates from them). I hope that is the change that will be in the new CM program update, but I don't know. However, I have not found that to be a problem because you get free CM templates with the program and there are also free ones that you can download from them.

All in all, I find it to be an easy to use, very flexible software program and I love using it!

Thanks everyone for your replies. I think I will get it while it is so inexpensive. I can't really afford a fancy thing like PSE right now and I think I will like the simplicity of the CM software!
