Jasmine. I cannot tell you how much I dislike her character. And the scene at the school between Max and Jabar, when she began questioning Crosby in front of both children, just sealed the deal for me.

I cannot stand her.

I could not understand why that discussion was taking place with both children there. And yeah, the character of Jasmine just would not ever take the time to listen to Crosby's explanation.

She's just so self righteous...I want to reach through the screen and slap her.

And I'm a little sick of the whole Crosby Bad Guy story line...they need to cut him a break.

I'm with you. Crosby can be a goof, but I can't stand the way she treats him. And she was treating him like crap well before he ever strayed.

I'm with you. I can't stand her and I was glad when they broke up.

I have gotten to like this show...caught up on season two on DVD while season 3 was starting. I'm not a fan of the Hattie storyline since it's gone into the whole fight thing though. I wasn't crazy about her at all, at first- but then she grew on me.

Lauren Graham seems to play the same character, repeatedly. I like her fine...it just feels like they dropped Lorelei into a different setting.

I KNEW you were going to say Jasmine. Can't stand
her either ~ even when they were together I didn't
like her.

Oh- and can I just add that every time they say 'Jasmine and Jabar' in the same sentence I snicker...because it sounds like 'Jasmine and Jafar' from Aladdin. I hate the name Jabar.

OK...I'll stop now.

I never watched Gilmore Girls, but just based on the little I've seen here and there, I can totally see what you mean, Sue. I like her, but she's a pretty one dimensional actress.

Hattie has taken a while to grow on me...but I think it's because she's really good a acting the teen part: selfish, self absorbed, bitchy to her mom...

And I absolutely love Michael Jordan's character Alex (probably because I loved him in Friday Night Lights...he was a fighter in that show too. I hope they keep him around, but I don't think he and Hattie are a fit.

I haven't caught up on the past two weeks, but I agree. I told my sister that a couple of weeks ago when she got after him for introducing Jabar to his "girlfriend" that showed up. She never found how how that happened or give Crosby the benefit of the doubt at all. Just attacked him, she was right, he was wrong. Bam. She drives me insane. And Crosby needs to grow a pair and say something when she comes at him like that.

I agree about Jasmine I think I liked her for a while but it has been a while like a season or more. I Crosby needs to grow a pair and stand up for himself. I don't see why the kids were present for the conversation either.

I didn't care for her character either and was glad that she and Crosby's relationship didn't go any further.

I think Jason Ritter (John's son) is just too damn cute and he and Sarah make a cute couple. I never watched the Gilmore Girls so I can't comment on Lauren Graham's acting, but I like her in this.

I didn't know he was John Ritter's son! He is a cutie!

Yes, way over Jasmine. Go date the doctor and let Crosby move on.

I agree that Jasmine is a bitch. Let somebody else talk once in a while.

Also, I don't like Christine. She just grates on me.

And I can't stand Haddie. OMG, I cannot.stand.her.

I'm not a huge Jasmine fan either, but Haddie totally grates on my nerves. I can't stand the kids in The Good Wife either.

Yep, I don't like Jasmine but Kristina is the one that I can't deal with. She is so high strung and whiney!

Now I haven't watched this weeks episode, so I haven't seen the latest from Jasmine.

Oh I can't stand her either! Since the beginning I've thought she was a control freak and I hated the way she treated Crosby.

I feel sorry for Jabbar in a few years. If she continues, he'll either hate her or hate him.

Jasmine's character ruins that part of the show when she is in it. I can see a bit of bitch, but why do they just keep making her character worse.

I agree...get on with the Dr and maybe he will mellow her out.

Haddie also grates on my nerves. I can see her treating her mother with disrespect as a teen, but she has such a cold, bitch aura about her when it comes to her mother.

Sarah WAS dropped right out of her last series and it drives me nuts how she talks, but I love her character. I just wish she could smooth out her sentences and speak like a normal human being.

Everything else about the show, I love. I love the part about "buying a baby". That is how I have always seen it. If you pay a lawyer to get you through the process....it's "buying a baby".If you pay anything towards the young mother's needs...it's "buying a baby". Call it what it is. It's just buying a baby legally.

I like this show, but sometimes it just seems like Gilmore Girls version 2.0 to me. They all just talk so much

I loved the buying a baby bit too. LOL. Seriously, she's trying to buy a baby!

I've always disliked Jasmine and I agree that Crosby needs some balls. I wonder if you can buy some, like you can buy babies?

All this talk about Crosby needing to grow some balls reminds me of the episode when he was going over to talk to Jasmine and her mom and Zeek told him to go ahead, his balls would be there waiting for him when he got back. I love Craig T Nelson!

I liked Jasmine in the beginning, but I have come to really dislike her lately. The way she talked to him in the parking lot...bitch!

I like Lauren Graham and I liked Lorelei, but honestly I think Sarah is the one character that could go away and it wouldn't affect the show at all. Other than having cool kids, she really has no point.

Kristina gets on my last nerve.

Love Adam and Crosby together!

Love this show but sometimes it just drives me nuts!

I know what you mean...but I think that's the draw. It's like a real family: whiny, loud, everyone talking at once and putting their own needs before everyone else's. All that talking at the same time is aggravating, but then I take a step back and look at my own family and it represents pretty well.

I'm trying to like Christina. I really am. But there's just something about her...

Yes, exactly. I'm the youngest of five. I think the Braverman's drive me nuts because it's too much like my own family in that I love you/I hate you kind of way. Keeps me coming back every week for more.

SPOILER ALERT!!!! SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!

Just now watching this week's epi: I'm crying. Alex is trying so hard. Breaking up with Haddie & then talking to Kristina, he was crying and they were hugging and saying "I love you". I hope Haddie & Alex figure it out or whatever. I'd like to see things work out for him.

I like Crosby but his voice sometimes gets on my nerves. It's kind of nasally sometimes. Not a real fan of Jasmine's either.

I just finished watching last night's episode (watched it On Demand), and I just have to say that the scene where Alex was saying goodbye to Kristina just broke my heart. Sniff. I got a little teary eyed!

She's a pill isn't she? Sometimes I get her frustration - I think we are supposed to feel her frustration with the man-child that is Crosby. Having once dated a guy very much like him (For Five years because I'm slow like that) - I feel her.

I'm just forever grateful I didn't have a baby with that guy

For me it's Amber and Hattie in turn. I think I'm just bored with the teen girl.

I agree she is very self righteous. I do like that she is in the show. I do not like it when all the characters are likable. It's great when we can watch them become vulnerable and we end up caring about them even though they are flawed. I know I have a lot of Jasmines in my life. Some, I tolerate and some I've grown to love anyway.

True.

I imagine that if my family were a show I'd be that character y'all love to hate. I think some of the characters bother me because they manifest the traits I loathe in *myself*

I love this show because it is so real. Parenthood seems to have real, multi-dimensional characters that I actually identify with.

I also completely agree about Jasmine. Jabar is such a sweet kid, Crosby is doing his best to be a dad (and I think he's doing a good job, considering parenthood kind of blind sided him) but Jasmine is awful.

I'm really enjoying Drew's storyline right now. So cute that they went for a walk in their pjs!!
