Whew, got my alphas done just in time. I thought it was only stamps and stickers/rub-ons, but once I got started, magnetic stamps (old MM) and MM rub-on books and a gazillion chipboard alphas suddenly appeared out of the woodwork. But I got them ALL to play nice.

QOTW: I prefer rub-ons but use stickers more often? I always look for a rub-on first but mostly end up using a sticker instead. So my hoard, um, stash, of rub-ons just keeps growing.

I have my stickers and rub-ons purged and moved to larger paper holders already (they were jumping off the shelf to avoid the pressure before) so I just need to sort them into categories. Not so bad (I think)

I got a jump start on this challenge earlier today. So I'm done. Being pumped about getting back into the challenge, I had some free time and just got it done.

I already had an old photobox for non-alpha stickers. Apart from me forgetting I have stickers, it works well. The stickers are divided into themes or categories, such as "words", "school", "spring", "winter" etc. The trick was finding categories that fit how I think...

Rub-ons have their own drawer, and I just pile them in there. I don't have that many, but I like them a lot.

The work I did was to integrate some "new" stickers that I hadn't placed in the box before. And found the box a spot in the book shelf. If I'm inclined to do more, I might purge, but I have space, so I might not until it's necessary.

As for the QOTW: I'm not sure (hah, isn't that a great answer?) I like sticker alphas more than rub-on alphas, but generally I like non-alpha rub-ons more than "regular" stickers.

Michelle, did you keep the MM rub-on books? How do you store them? I chucked them in with the other rub-ons, but I'm not sure I'll remmeber I have alphas in the rub-on drawer...

Hey Crisann, are you feeling better?

QOTW: I prefer rub-ons to stickers. I rarely use alphas of either. I tend to use thickers the most.

I am going to get rid of a lot of my old (really old) alpha stickers and try to start using some of the ones I keep. I am going to put some in with my PL kit. They can add interest and not bulk which I am trying to avoid in my PL.

Right now I have a basket with non-alpha rub-ons, a basket with alpha rub-ons and two plastic iris boxes of alpha stickers. I hope to get down to two iris containers, one of rub-ons and one of stickers.

My stickers are in a PSB, there are not that many left, I did a big purge about 6 months ago. I only have about 5 packages of rub-ons, never liked them that much until I discovered the BG rub-on tool. I don't really have a preference.

Happy Monday! My non-alpha stickers are in a accordian folder and separated by category: Flowers and butterflies, love, house, food, fall, halloween, christmas, pet, blank, and misc.

I don't have a lot of rubons so I just stick it in the same box as my stamps.

Just stopping by. I've not done any organizing today, so I'm getting a fix by reading about everybody's progress

Well, I think it's about that time to say goodbye to the stash of CM stickers I am *still* hoarding. This is what?? Round 5?? Still have those suckers hanging around and STILL haven't even looked at them!!

Yep - off to the LSS garage sale bin they go!!

With my more recent purchases, I have definitely more rubons then I have stickers. But I have such an overwhelming amount of stickers from when I started scrapping, I think stickers outnumber my run-ons for now

I'll take some pictures of my system as I think it's pretty good. I just need to purge a little .... OK, I lot

Hope you're feeling better Crisann!!

Hi there! I'm done for this week! Yes!

Hilde - I put my MM rub-ons books upright in my basket with my chipboard alphas. They are right in the front, so I can actually see them and hopefully end up using them I DID use a few letters on my last LO, so seeing them certainly helps.

I sorted my rub-ons and stickers into categories, but still have to decide what to call each category I just dumped them all in a pile and sorted them into groups that felt 'right' to me. Some are obvious, like 7gypsies rub-ons, but others... 'general' just doesn't cut it. But at least they are sorted!

Michelle -

Do you have a lot of rubons/stickers? Are they mostly colour/black and white? I find the stickers/rubons I tend to use the most are the ones that are already integrated with my other embelishments. So if I have rubons that are mainly blue, into the blue bin they go.

However, because I have so many rubons that are black or white, those bins are HUGE (to accomodate the extra rubons). But the same theory applies, if I'm looking for something "black" I know where to look.

I also have a "theme" binder. But I rarely go into it. I think because 1) it's so cumbersome and huge AND heavy that it's more of a headache to take out all the time and 2) the stuff in there is so dated ... I don't even remember the last time I put something IN there, let alone used something from the binder.

I'll have to have another look through and determine if it's something I would use or not I guess. Right now, it's just taking up valuable real estate in my desk

Found you at last

Well this week has probably seen me tick a couple of the future weeks off my list already. I had two significant boxes that were supposed to contain random embellishments but because they were over full I rarely bothered checking them. Anyway I emptied them out and did some sorting because there really was everything in there. So two days later it's all where it should be and so are the other things that I found along the way.

Like my alpha stickers all my other stickers and rub-ons are in a basket so I can flick through them easily. They aren't something that I tend to use so I am making a serious effort to do just that.

I do prefer the look of rub-ons but have difficulty finding ones that I like that do actually rub on

Michelle, thanks for the tip. I'll surely try this, too. I'll need to see them, that's for sure. And perhaps set a deadline for when thry're out of here
