@katscrapper30....
quote from the opening post...
"Your list must have at least 10 items on it, and at least 3 general items. A general item would be "cat stamps", any dies from PTI, or easter themed embellishments." |

OK...here is my wish list:
1. MME twine in orange (this was packaged for the Fly a Kite paper line/Lime Twist) I think it is called "Everyday" twine at the bottom of the card.
2. The orange/yellow washi type tape pack from Target (up & up brand, in the office supply section. It sells for $4.00)
3. Other washi tapes (that aren't from Target, Walmart, or Michaels)
4. MME Indie Chic: 6 x 6 pads or decorative tape from that line
5. Cuttlebug embossing folder: distressed stripes
6. ATG refills (for the pink ATG)
7. LYB Winter Twig paper or embellishments (any paper except Blue Tea/Frosty Diamond and any embellishment except journaling cards or label stickers) Partials are fine and paper can be cut down for easier shipping.
8. Kraft colored paper sacks from Michaels (Celebrate It brand) in either of these two sizes: 3 1/2 x 2 x 6 3/4 (16 in a package) or 4 5/8 x 2 7/8 x 8 5/8 (12 in a package) Partial packages are fine.
That's all I can think of right now. I'll add more later!
Thanks. | |

As much as I hate to do this, I have to KellyLo out as a flaker for the wish thread.
As much as I hate to do this, I have to KellyLo out as a flaker for the wish thread.
I granted a wish for KellyLo on 4/6 and shipped her wish on 4/11. She posted that it was received on 4/19. I put together the equivalent of 3 full packages of the Recollections roses in a mix of colors and 2 full sheets of Sassafrass letter stickers to grant her wish.
On 4/11 I accepted a wish from KellyLo for Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads. It is now 5/2 and I still have not received my wish. I had surgery on 4/19 and was not staying at my home the first several days of my recovery so thought maybe I missed it and it ended up at a neighbors or our office without anything in our mailbox.
As of 4/25 when I had not received my wish I posted on this thread and Peamailed Kelly. At that time I was told on 4/26 via peamail that it would ship that day and I would receive a DC number.
I sent another Peamail asking for the status on 5/1 and as of this time, the peamail has not been opened, however Kellylo has been posting on various threads since my peamail was sent.
I'm pretty irked that I was able to grant a wish and ship it in a timely matter during the time that I have been unable to drive and was preparing for surgery. I realize that everyone is busy, but if you cannot follow through with what you say you will do, do not take part in this thread.
This has left a very poor taste for this thread that was supposed to be fun and I was excited to take part in, but now I am hesitant to take part due to KellyLo flaking. I'm very disappointed and hoping that KellyLo will still follow through with her end of this. |

But KellyLo, where does that leave you? I'd be happy to grant a wish for you, if it's something I at all have or can get. I know that life happens, and it looks like you're doing what you can to make things right.
*ETA - actually, looking over things it looks like wishes were still granted and the thread moved on. Wow, it's hard to keep track of who is currently the one wishing for something! How do you guys keep it all straight?*

I have to respectfully disagree borntoshop...
This never should have come to this point. When I do receive my package from Kellylo I will post that it was received and that the issue is resolved.
3 weeks is not acceptable. I followed up after 2 weeks and was told it was missed and that I would receive communication with a DC number when it was sent out. After another week, I did not receive anything confirming it had shipped. That is when I sent another peamail and it went unanswered and unread.
I realize everyone is busy...trust me, but if you know you are busy don't participate in something like this. That is the bottom line.
I'm not going to apologize for having the guts to call someone out who was at fault and didn't up to yesterday follow through with there end of things. As I have said, it shouldn't have had to come to this and I tried resolving the situation privately and when that couldn't be done, I felt it should become public so others didn't get put in the same situation I was put in. |

I definitely think there are better ways to go about handling issues on here. I have a similar issue going on where its been 3 weeks since I actually sent in money for some product and i don't know what the delay was but I respectfully posted a thread asking the person to please contact me and asking other pea's to let her know I was waiting on something if they knew how to get in touch with that pea. I was not even contacted by that pea but did have a shipping confirmation notification so I left it at that. I am just happy knowing my stuff is coming. I always give someone the benefit of the doubt before using the term flake as that is very offensive on this board. I cringe at the way some people speak to others on this board. Respect others please! After all, its only material things we're dealing with here.

I have to respectively say that I agree with scrappincolleen on calling KellyLo out. She granted a wish for me a while back and it took me over 30 days to get my items. KellyLo...I had done business with you in the past (purchasing from you) and you said you had dental surgery so other than asking about my wish on this board, I let it go.
I subsequently had another person on this board ask me if had ever rec'd my wish from KellyLo as she had been waiting for 3 weeks.! She did ultimately get her items too.
Yes! I did receive it and Yes, she sent me a LOT of items - mostly new and probably valued at $30 to make up for being so late. My personal opinion is that if you can't get it mailed at within a week, then do not participate on this board.
I am actually surprised that KellyLo had the nerve to defend herself on here knowing that she has delayed shipment not for one, two but at LEAST 3 people now. Sorry KellyLo...if had been just me, I would not have said anything. But 3 times is too many times!
Please guys, if you can't ship with a week, do not participate. Let's get back to the spirit of this thread...granting wishes! I am up but haven't had but one response - which I turned down so I will try to add some more to it!

Over ink pads???? You are missing the point. And, had you let me know about your surgery AND shipped it out the next week, I would have said nothing.
I personally have had 2 other people contact me wanting to know if I rec'd my wish because they had not, and mine was over 30 days, theirs had been 3 weeks. This is NOT an attack on you about ink pads. It is about shipping your items in a reasonable time. People can then decide on their own, if they wish to continue to have you grant their wish.
Sorry but knowing that you have delayed shipments to several people on this thread is what made me surprised that you are defending your position. Yes, life gets in the way and things happen. Your health and family always comes first but it takes no time at all to communicate with the person about the delay.
