They are going back today. They are SOOO hard to punch! For that price, they should cut like butter, IMHO.

Should have thought twice on this one!

I was a bit sad that I missed out on the low price last week. Now I'm not so sad.

That sucks. I know the excitement of getting that package in the mail...and then you're disappointed. I was on the fence about these, so thanks for the feedback.

I agree - they should not be so hard to punch. I'm curious what others will say as their packages arrive.

Oh no! I thought a few of them were really cool but they are gigantic. I would like to have one of them, but now I'm glad I didn't jump in yet.

That's a shame. I watched their demos throughout the day, and it certainly didn't look like they were having trouble punching them. Maybe you just need to work with them to "break them in" a little. Hope it works out for you.

That is so disappointing! After waiting sooo long for them to actually come out with the product, and to be so expensive. They should be punching like butter.

I bought one before the show and had a 15% off coupon that I used in addition. I haven't had time to play with it full on but did a quick punch and I didn't think they were any more difficult than my EK Success or Marth punches, they're just on a larger scale. I do have to say they are huge and I couldn't imagine owning a whole line just on the storage factor alone. I may buy one more but that will probably be as far as I go.

Hi Gals,
I bought both sets that were available and yes they are huge but they work great. I had a bit of a problem with one punch but when I read the instructions more thouroughly I realized that I was not pushing up on the handle when switching the on/off buttons. When I did that it cute like butter. I just don't know where I will be keeping all of them but I love them!! Super great service from HSN!!

Martha Stewart has border punches with coordinating corner punches so you can punch around the whole page - I know that's not exactly the Super 8 - but just another option FYI.

I just really had to lean in -- didn't think it looked that way on the demos. I can certainly live without them. When I did the double punch, inside and outside, it would not go through at all! I probably just got the only Unlucky one! WE R is usually so great!

Anyone know when these will be in stores? I want to give them a try but would rather be able to return to a store if necessary.

Mine are due to arrive today. I hope they aren't hard to work with. They looked easy on TV. Maybe they do just need to be broke in. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I got mine yesterday and tried one of them out. It worked great and was easy to push. My 9 year old even was able to do it. What punch was causing you problems? I will have to try my other ones out tonight.

What weight of cardstock is everyone using? I know with the MS punches I have to watch the cardstock. Anyone tried textured cardstock with good results?

I got mine this morning, right before I had to leave for work - talk about temptation! I tried one of them and it didn't seem any harder than my Martha punches. I have to say I things a little weird it doesn't just pop back up, but other than that it was ok. I tried mine on AC CS

I love my punches, but I CANNOT figure out how to use it on smaller sheets of paper - as in 8X8! Any suggestions out there???

I think they look so cool! I have never ordered from HSN or QVC so will wait until I see one in person. I don't think I would need all of them though.

i've found that following the directions makes a big difference too--with all craft tools it does. i've really enjoyed using my lucky 8 punches. they're a lot of fun!

you punch smaller square papers the same you do the 12x12--all four corners, flip it, then all four corners again. if you're using a rectangle shape do one corner, flip it, the other corner, repeat. The best thing to do is play around with some scraps and see what happens. That's part of the fun!

I agree - directions do help, but when using the smaller paper, The cuts overlap and make a mess! But this is one way to use up my scraps!!!

If I read the directiosn correctly, on the smaller pieces of paper you only use the outside cut. Mine came yesterday but I haven't played.

I love mine - they came super quick and I jumped right in. Couldn't punch them easily from my kitchen counter but when using a lower table for leverage, they cut beautifully and were quite easy to work. Maybe try them one more time on a lower surface...it really did make a difference for me...good luck!

Oh, I also re-arranged my paper room just for the six I received the other day and the six more I have on auto ship. They are large but I believe they're worth the real estate investment.

Regular retail is $39.99 a piece. HSN had them on special Monday for $40 for 2 plus shipping. I noticed today on HSN on-line that they are listed for $59.95 for 2 plus shipping, so about $30 a piece. Looks like your price is good. When these are no longer new the price should come down. It depends if you can wait a few months or not. I'm going to wait. The ones they have released are not the ones I want. I will eventually buy, but later.

I got mine on Tuesday. I was debating if I should cancel but it was hard to resist. I ordered both punches plus the two that were on the website. That's a total of 6 giant punches. I haven't tried them because all I can think about is where I am going to put them. They are MASSIVE!!!

Did someone say "read the directions"? Well, I am not only deaf, but blind - in both eyes! Carolann - THANK-YOU for your help! The cuts (outer!!) are a little different than the 12 x 12, but they work and I am now frustrated only with myself for getting so worked up over this! I really do love the punches!!! Kristin

I thought after taking MORE THAN A YEAR to bring these things to market, they'd have had it right.

REALLY glad I passed on the deal--thanks for the info!

I did get to use them at my friends store and I didnt think they were that big that they wouldnt tuck into a basket like that goes in an expedit and line up or stack ...we even tried them on an ikea rail and they worked. you might only fit 3 or 4 depending on rail length but they worked fine on it!

I am already working on ideas for the storage of all of them. I havent figured that out yet but I better soon cause I am on auto-ship and I will have a pile of them by the end of the year! Nicest new tool I've purchased in a while! Love We R Memory Keepers and HSN!!

I placed an order for the Lace Doily set by phone with the auto ship that I figured I could always cancel. I called right around the time it was selling out but the gal said that I got it.

When it arrived the other set was in the box so I was really bummed. I liked the circle but the floral punch is not one I would use much so it's going back. HSN offered me free return shipping and credited my account an extra $10 so I could reorder the right one which aren't sold out anymore (people call and order using a mail in check and then they don't send money?) so I was pleased with how they corrected the problem

I couldn't resist trying the punches to see if they were as great as they seemed on the TV... I was really impressed with how easy it was (and I have rheumatoid arthritis in both hands), the cuts were crisp & I will be getting the other set for sure. Great product that I'm excited about adding to my crafty tools

I received mine and they were very stiff at first, but the more I have used them, they have gotten much better. I love the design they provide and they will give different designs with different sized paper. All must be square, i.e. 10x10 down to 7x7. Easier for a quick design than putting thru the Cricut.
