Hi Steph! Glad you can join in. First things first, I have to go through paper and dig out what I want to give to my Aunt. I bought a ton of stuff last week at A's and need to find room for it all.

Yes it is! I've gone through all my paper and dug out a bunch to give away. Now to put the new away.

I 'locked' my kid in his room , and now I'm ready to create!

Note: It's his naptime and the door is just pulled tightly shut.

I always read the scrap n yap threads---so fun! So I'm going to join in if I can!

I know what you mean about pulling yourself away from the boards! I have to get some dishes done so then I can work on some cards!

I'm here.

So needed a 3 day weekend after this week at work - between tornados, Easter events, and a family I'm working with that is certifiable crazy it was brutal.

Decided today is a me day. I'm doing nothing but scrapping today.

Well and I'll probably have to feed my child since DH is at work.

Our Friday is almost done. I just have a quick 15 minute living room clean up then I want to try to finish the handstitching I started on a page a few days ago. It took me about 45 minutes to do one line & I have three more today. Let's hope I get it done faster than the first line.

Before all this though, I'm going to read some more threads and probably pop back in here!

Sarah, a baby scrapbook is a big undertaking for a shower gift! I am impressed.

I'm working on some scrapping.

The whole family is home today, both my parents, all the kids, and DH and I! Is a busy house today!

Just got back from Good Friday services! DH is at work, the kids are watching movies, and the afternoon is mine.

I probably won't get to scrap (yet) but I'm working on taming the paper dragon that has overtaken my home office/scrap area.

Then hopefully some scrappin' tonight or tomorrow. I got my first set of Super Sketch Club layouts this week which I can't wait to put together.

Have fun everyone!

I'll probably get to scrap tomorrow afternoon while the boys watch baseball. Maybe someone will do a 'scrap & yap' tomorrow?!

So one LO down.
Sometimes I can't believe I'm so slow...

All this talk on the boards about purging paper is making me think about going through my paper. I've organized by color for a long long time, but I'm thinking about changing to organizing by manufacturer because of late I've found myself not wanting to file my new papers away so that I can keep collections together even though they are different colors.
It just seems like such a huge project.

Ooh, I just noticed this, cool!

Well, I have been doing scrappy stuff off and on all day. I had a day off today so I did some cleaning up inside and outside the house, and then after that my Stampin Up order came. It was VERY COOL. We broke out the Cuttlebug and started going to town testing out the new shapes. I got these sizzlit things, which are very cool and new to me. And a Top Note die, which I probably have in various incarnations on my slice etc and nestabilities but I LOVE this one. It's just great.

Then I FINALLY sent off this box I put together for my pal. It was so much fun but by the time I got done filling the box and shipped it, it weighed 23 pounds. That is a lot of scrappy-stampy stuff. I very much enjoyed putting it together but I am glad to have the chaos cleared out of here. I tore through all sorts of stuff in my stash so I created kind of a little bit of carnage. It's mostly cleaned up now, but earlier today it was on my floor, on my desk, on my chair, everywhere!

Now, I just need to finish putting away my SU stuff--we kept stopping to test it out. I have three college-age daughters and one is decidedly interested in my crafty stuff. The other two, not so much. YET.

After that, I think it's scrapbooking time. I have some papers out and am mulling things over. I almost always start with a story/photos but these papers happened to catch my eye. So, mulling.

When I went to edit my signature, the "Edit Signature" title was spelled wrong. So that was distracting and I forgot what I wanted my new signature to be.

That was so nice of you Seanna to pass some scrappy stuff to your friend. They will be very excited I am sure when they receive that package!!

Well maybe tomorrow I will get more scrapping done---I'm off to fix dinner then it's to M's to use my 50% off coupon that's good for today only! Thinking of getting a fun EP color...we'll see...

Have fun tonight scrapping everyone!!

Thanks, Melissa! I probably got as much or more out of doing it than she will getting it. Totally rewarding. Plus I found my Versamark pad. And an unopened Vintage Photo pad that I had sort of been thinking might be hanging around here. OK, well two of them. But one went into the box. I really very rarely buy doubles but I guess I just had the first one well hidden. That's my story, anyway.

One thing I did discover was that I have a ton of UTEE but not a lot of regular embossing powder and I can't find my white or black. I did order some more clear that came with my SU order so I can definitely make do with that and colored ink pads, but I was kind of surprised that I was out of that stuff. I used to have a lot of it. If we had an M around here I would be tempted to do the same thing you're doing. But we just have HL. Although it's pretty cool, too! I think I'm good for a while, though. And I still think I have white EP around here. I haven't used it in ages but I think I put it in a bigger container with a tiny spoon in it. And then apparently promptly lost it. Go me!

Good evening ladies! Holy cow I got NOTHING done today. Nothing. Well, I got all my things out of my room to give away and all the new stuff put away and that's it. It took a long time.

I put some lots of embellies together to sell on the auction site, so that took quite a long time. But, it was well worth the effort, I'm glad I did it. Now, if they just sell!

biochemipea, thanks for your comment. I hope they love it. I picked up the new baby boy line from Bella Blvd, it is so adorable! I'm not going crazy with it, it's too hard without the pics to use.

Anyway, back to work, I have to get started tonight!

Have fun and I'll check back.

Well, still no scrapping here but I'm making progress on all the paperwork purging and can actually see my desk now

I'm definitely a "piler" so I'm attacking all the piles, one by one, and sorting them into 3 cute plastic bins I got at Target yesterday - To Do, To File, and Memorabilia. And most of of the pile contents are going in the trash, yay!

Well, I must be down to December 2011 because I just found all our Christmas cards, LOL! I'm going back in ....

Way to go Steph!!

biochemipea, it is so cute! The new line from Doodlebug is awesome too, and what I had planned to use. But, the Bella won out, the paper is just too adorable to pass up.

ElsaBelle, I'm not planning on scraplifting too much, maybe just referring to my Page Maps book. Scraplifting has never been my thing, but seeing as how busy I'm going to be, I may just change my thinking! At least I have all the supplies I need right here on my desk. I love your name, my Mom started calling me Sarahbelle when I was an infant and it stuck, so at the age of 37 most people call me Sarahbelle!

Ok, I've got my first two pages started, wish me luck!

Okay one more LO almost done... but I'm hungry.

DH and I going for a pizza. I'll check back later.

@Steph- so what "projects" does PL entail? Thought it was just putting a daily pic in and a journaling card and dressing it up a bit?
I'm a little fascintated by this PL thing but just can't commit.

Jessica: The project I finished earlier was 8x8 inserts for the beginning of each month. You can see what I did here

The next "project" I'm tackling is getting caught up with printing my pictures and putting cell phone pics on my computer to print. I'm pretty behind on that - whoops!

Taking a breather here. I really boogered up my first layout -- decided to add a cute iron-on to the page, but it was apparently very old and like rub-ons, wouldn't come off no matter how many times I ironed or how hot I made the surface. So I have a smeared mess at the bottom, and not much energy for fixing it. I'm thinking it's time for a big piece of construction paper with a title slapped on it.
