For around $50, yes I think they are worth it! I have had mine for at least 5 years now. I use it often and since it is so light, I take it to crops with me. I have gotten a lot of mileage out of it. |

I sew and quilt on my Janome JEM silver.
It retails around 200 and currently the Hello Kitty line uses these, but with the other faceplate.
mine has 12 stiches and it's a workhorse

I really like mine because of the size and the fact it is so easy to lift and move.

Love mine. For the money, it's the best I have ever used. Perfect small size, too.

I bought mine for $49 at Hancock Fabric. They go on sale periodically. We used to have a store in my town, so I just picked it up there. |

Got mine forever ago as the TSV on QVC. It's been a great machine for the price. No complaints.

Keep watching Hancock fabrics - they go on sale fairly often.
My Mom (fantastic seamstress) has one that she keeps around for when her $5000 machine is in the shop - or to take in their RV when they travel. (Yes, she loves to sew! LOL)
I'm disabled and am mostly in bed with a weak heart. Last Christmas I wanted to sew the new Pajamas that we always open for Christmas Eve gifts. Mom lent me her Janome mini machine - and I sewed 5 pairs of simple pajamas sitting up in bed with that machine on my lap! It was very simple and so light. It did all the basic stitches I needed for that project - a great little machine!
Now I've got one on my "wish list" so I can use it for scrapping/cardmaking. It was so easy to pick up, handle and move around - even for me!
