Ok, really long story. Apparently someone that I work with went to my boss and said there was an inappropriate picture on my boards. He asked me to remove it and that would be the end of it. I was truly embarrassed to see the picture as I have no idea how it got there. Anyway, its not under any of my is under the tab of Likes. How do I delete the one single picture? I tried to cancel my account but when I log back in with my username and password the picture still shows up. I unfollowed all my friends hoping that would make it so you couldn't find me. But I still would feel better if I could get rid of the one picture. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If it's something that you liked all you need to do is go back to the pin and unlike it. It's the same button as the like button.

But I'm more hung up on this little nugget..

Apparently someone that I work with went to my boss and said there was an inappropriate picture on my boards.

So is your Pinterest account related to work? Because if someone told me I had something unappropriated on my personal Pinteresst board and had to remove it I would tell them to kiss it where the sun don't shine!

What does your pinterest board have to do with your job?

I was wondering the same thing - if a co-worker thinks you have something inappropriate on pinterest, why tell your boss and why does your boss make you remove it? If you had a painting of a nude in your home, would your boss make you take it down?

But.. to answer your question.... under your avatar on the right upper side, select LIKES from the drop down list. All your LIKES will appear, find the photo you want to remove and click UNLIKE - refresh your screen and it should be gone.

I'm another who is terribly curious as to what this "inappropriate picture" is and how your Pinterest account is any business of your boss.

I can't get past the tattle tale who went to your boss, regardless of whether your board is tied to your job or not. If I saw an inappropriate picture on someone's board, I might let them know about just in case they are not aware of it and let them do what they please with it. It would never occur to me to go to a boss unless it somehow reflected badly on the company and it wasn't removed after the person was told that it was there.

I am totally livid reading this post.
1.As a personal board you liking a pin in your personal time, should not be a concern, unless you liked a pic promoting drugs, sex etc.... even at that it is PERSONAL.
2.The busy body that has time to look at your board and talking to your boss in my opinion is a violation of your civil right.

I can go and on on.

I just went to my pinterest and looked at the tab of likes. I have 3 things on there. At the top of the items it shows Repin, Unlike, Comment. The unlike is grayed out by it allowed me to unlike the item. When I then reloaded my tab of Likes it was gone.
Your co-worker and your boss are invading your privacy in my opinion and I would not be impressed with that co-worker's behavior.

Well let me say that I was so totally embarrassed having the conversation with my boss (who is a male). He admitted he didn't really know about Pinterest but said that I needed to delete the picture. I told him I honestly didn't know what he was talkinhg about. He offered to show me the picture if I logged on but I said I would try to find it myself. I did find it. Its actually not under my likes but under my Activity board. I tried to unlike the picture but now it is showing up twice. I emailed Pinterest twice but have not gotten a response that has worked. I tried the suggestions offered on here but the picture is still showing. I unfollowed everyone. I tried to delete my account. My Pinterest has nothing to do with my job. What irritates me is that it is not someone in my direct office. I work for a school district so it could be anyone. I'm annoyed that if they know me they know I am not the kind of person to like pictures like that. Why they couldn't come to me first I don't know. I'm really an easy going person. I don't want to jeopardize my job so I'm trying really hard to get rid of the picture. I just can't figure out how to do it. UGH!

Is there anyway you got hacked and the person who tattled is actually who put it there?

I just find it bizarre that someone went to your boss about it. I hope you find out who it is, b/c that's obviously someone you can't trust.
