I had a baby girl yesterday! I have two other children, but they are boys. I have never scrapped for a girl and am SO excited. What are some of your favorite papers or other things for baby girl scrapbook pages?

Heather...oh my, I am so excited for you. :>
I have to buy boy papers but I really only want to have girl papers.

So here are my top picks for baby girls:
1. simple stories baby line
2. prima songbird
3. ANYTHING Anna Griffin
5. 5th ave Melissa Francis

oh should I continue?

Bazzill line by Margie, I think it is called Vintage Market.

I am assuming you like a little distress look...if not then:

bella blvd-girl line this year
doodle bug--never fails
pebbles--usually has 1 girl line a year (if not their paper---their embellishments are universal and are great to have on hand)

if that doesn't work, let me know...I can do LOTS of suggestions.

HUGS and oh so excited, babies are so much fun! Those little lives that you see come alive and their personality starts to shine through as they grow. (sniff...I need to find a baby to cuddle with now)

I haven't bought baby girl-specific stuff since my 19-month old DGD was newborn, and then it was some K & Co. stuff, but my advice would be "think pink." Whatever you end up getting, you will be using a lot more pink! I am talking about lines that aren't primarily pink but have pink in them, i.e. Echo Park Splash (last year's summer line.) And pink flowers that you may end up using on "About Me" layouts too. And pink pieces of bling. And. And. And.

Echo park and Bella are my favorites. I'n not too big on Teresa Collins. But I think for those dresses ( I know you will put on her to go to church or father's day) She has a line that will look elegant and adorable!!!

Congratulations! How wonderful!

My suggestion is Graphic 45's Little Darlings
(second collection from the top of the page)

Little Darlings has beautiful vintage pastel illustrations from artists like Bessie Pease Gutmann and lovely pastel backgrounds. I think it would be perfect for baby girl pages.

Enjoy!

Congratulations! I'm a mom of two boys and a girl too. It is fun to scrap girly pages. Bella Blvd has an adorable line. My Mind's Eye also has some beautiful papers.

I also had two boys before my daughter.

Being able to buy girl scrappy stuff is SO fun. I love the My Mind's Eye collections.

There are tons of cute girly papers and embellies out there. You'll have so much fun!

Oh, and congrats on your baby girl

Congrats! I have a boy and I often see 'girly' papers I love but I know I won't use.

Carta Bella, which is owned by or affiliated with Echo Park, has a beautiful line coming out soon. I also agree with the other peas on MME lines, Crate Paper, Bella Blvd.

Okay, so I bumped this thread because I too am looking for baby girl stuff after having two boys! I'm back to scrapping after many years off and am confused. I would prefer to purchase things in collections if possible, but I'm not finding collections online. Do people not purchase collections very much? Is it smarter to do everything separately? I was able to find Echo Park and Doodlebug, but other than that it seems like nothing is available as collections.

Where are people purchasing if they can't find them on Two Peas? I don't have a close LSS, or I would go there first.

I think it depends - lots of people do purchase collections (me included!), as well as individual items. Part of the problem may be if you're looking for the links above though - those collections are going to be close to a year old now, and the full collections might be hard to find.

Lots of new stuff coming out with the CHA winter lines though! I have a boy, so I wasn't looking closely for pink, but Dear Lizzy is always good. I don't remember hearing about a specific baby girl line, but there are always lots of pinks and spring-y colors in the CHA-winter lineups!

Crate Paper baby girl collection pack

This is the only baby girl collection pack that I found in the store. It looks like right now most of the baby collections were from last spring, so maybe in a couple of months there will be new baby stuff coming in?

Yes, there are lots of collections still available and coming out! Dear Lizzy Fifth and Frolic's collection is on sale here at Two Peas right now, and it has beautiful soft colors (and I LOVE the buttons and other embellishments you can get with it!).

I have seen some specific baby girl themed things. There's even a Baby Girl Project Life kit by Becky Higgins (Amazon), which I would get and use the journaling cards/prompts just in regular layouts if I were to have one at this point.

Dear Lizzy all the way. So soft and feminine.nHowever I love the colors in Crate papers 14 collection (this year's valentine line) and am using a lot of that for my baby girl. There is a ton of great stuff if you aren't looking for theme specific.

Thanks for the great suggestions... I guess I am really out of it. So what you all are saying, if I understand you is that new "lines" come out and then are only available for a few months when new ones come out again?

I had no idea this was how it worked! No wonder I have no idea what you guys are talking about most of the time!!

Yes, collections come and go!!

My all time favorite line for boys or girls is the Simple Stories baby steps line. I bought two collection packs of this and used each and every scrap of it.

I only had girls to scrap for until my grandson was born so it was nice to see more boy lines but now there seem to be less girl lines! I tend to buy collection packs of papers I know I will use a lot of, baby and child, Christmas, School, Halloween, etc. it just makes it easier for me this way and it is generally less expensive.

Most things seem to come in collection packs now. One thing you can do is to go to manufacturer websites and write down what you like and then search the store here to see if it is in stock.

I know this situation very well! I have a 6 month old baby girl after having 2 boys...let me tell you...scrapping and shopping for girls is SO. MUCH. FUN!! I have mostly been drawn to Crate Paper lines, Echo Park, Dear Lizzy, My Mind's Eye and Pebbles. I have a couple of girl layouts in my gallery, but not many yet. Still trying to get back into the swing of scrapping after doing almost nothing the last 6 months! I don't look for baby themed papers as much as I look for colors/patterns, but that's just me! Have fun scrapping for a girl!!

I love the Bella Blvd. products! I have 3 girls and really want to scrapbook with boy papers! It's so great to be able to do both. I guess I will have to do a scrapbook for my nephew! Girls papers are so cute, but so are the boys papers!

Doodlebug is cute and I love their stuff.

Another vote here for Doodlebug and Bella Blvd! I love them for their bright fun colors. And doodlebugs baby girl line is adorable. My baby girl is 8 now and Ive had to move on to lines like the simple stories, and my minds eye! Miss doing those baby layouts!!

I remember being in pink heaven after scrapping my 2 boys for so long! Have fun!
