So when I broke my knee on our cruise, my husband's band moved a few practices to our house (long story). For them to practice in the great room, aka my scrap space, a bunch of my stuff had to be packed into totes very quickly by my dh and my sister without my supervision.
Fast forward three months...I avoided my space for months because I just wasn't feeling creative...couldn't get around...couldn't find anything...was too tired.
Finally, in the last few weeks I've been going down there for a few minutes at a time and sorting thru things...taking some little steps, etc.
The whole time, I've been trying to find a set of new Stampin' Up! framelet dies that I bought just before I got hurt...couldn't find them anywhere.
Major frustration! Finally, after spending so much time hunting for them, last night I ran across a box of tools and things that my sister had packed up and put on a shelf...in the bottom was my long lost set of dies!!
I haven't scrapped much of anything since February when we went on our cruise and I broke my knee. Now, I feel like I can move forward and do something.
It's a nice feeling.

Glad you found it and hope you can get back into the groove soon. A broken kneecap is one of the more frustrating rehab times. I'd find scrapbooking a must just to keep my nerves calm.

A friend helping me unpack 8 years ago put them in with some sewing stuff. I'd already replaced two (gave the extras to my friend) and could NEVER get the others. You should have seen ME do the happy dance!
Glad you found your mojo too! Hope your knee is doing better, I remember reading about your bad start to your canceled vacation.

It's great that you've found the lost dies, and that you're healing! I would have gone half crazy if I'd been in your situation. Lost items drive me nutso till I find them. Hope you get back into good shape quickly and can do all the things you want to do a.s.a.p.
