I'm trying to purchase a gift certificate to give as a prize for WSW12. It keeps timing out even though it only takes me a few seconds to complete the request since the form already has my information printed on it. I've tried three times, and now have the purchases on my list the gift certificates that I have already bought, but none of them are any good since the purchase wasn't completed. At least one even was mailed to the recipient, but she couldn't use it since Two Peas couldn't find it. What a bother!

Is anyone else having this problem? If not, which browser are you using. I'm wondering if I should switch to a different browser the way I did when we were having problems during WSW12.

I put in a Service Ticket. Matt said he didn't know what was wrong and that he'd inform Tech. Does anyone here have advice?

Thank you.
Daria

Sorry you are struggling Daria! I have no advice. I have bought gift certificates quite a few times without ever having problems, but this time I sent a parcel RAK.

I have also purchased several gift certificates without a problem, but not this time.

I just called Two Peas to see if I could order one by phone. I got a voice message, and I tried to leave a message. Guess what. I barely got out one sentence and my area code, and I was timed out there too. Can you believe it?

I'm thinking Two Peas just doesn't want your money.

Have you tried a service ticket?

Yes, Anne, I put in a Service Ticket. Matt doesn't know what is causing the problem, and he turned it over to Tech. I haven't heard from them. I'm mailing the WSW12 prize tomorrow morning. Hopefully, they will have worked out the problem by the end of Hangover Week, or I'll be mailing the next one too.

BTW, I also tried ordering the gift certificate while using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. That didn't work either. That one not only timed out almost immediately, it told me to put in a valid credit card number, type, and expiration date. As if I hadn't!

Thanks for all the support, Everyone.

Maybe try Google Chrome as the browser? Might not help but at least you can say you tried!

Bummer! Gift certificates are a super RAK and usually convenient for the purchaser. I haven't bought one in awhile. I'm sure I used Firefox, but it really shouldn't matter. That's really a shame that you got a double whammy when the phone system cut you off as well! Humph! I hope they get the gremlins out of the system soon!

Problem solved: I just spoke with Matt, and they figured out what was wrong. They now require that the credit card's expiration date be reported as mmyyyy, but the form said to report it as mmyy. That has now been changed so there shouldn't be any other problem. I was able to order gift certificates in seconds just like before.

Thanks for the moral support.
