|Posted: 7/1/2012 1:29:17 PM|My first reaction when I saw this is to say "THANKS"...I was born & raised in Canada...but I'm an American citizen now and live in California, so I don't necessarily celebrate Canada Day. But lots of family and friends still live there...so THANKS!

|Posted: 7/2/2012 7:54:56 AM|I celebrated in Ottawa itself this year...what a CROWD! 50% were college-aged students in various stages of drunk, but they sure were patriotic. We must have sung the anthem 6 times during the fireworks Keeping a hold of my kids was challenging in the swarming sea of red and white however. Cool to watch right beside the Peace Tower.
I took my camera out at the fireworks...
no memory card (it was in the computer downloading the pictures from the earlier festivities!!!) D'oh!

We celebrated Canada Day in Houston,Tx!! It was great...especially with all the goodies my mom sent in out Canada Day package.
