I need some help, I am considering hormone replacement but have not heard good things about them. Also I used them before and was not happy. Butt injections every 6-8 weeks, it was painful and left my butt full of scars?!
I need something to help with the mood changes, irritability, low libido, sleeplessness, tired, lack of energy and sadness.
Does anyone use vitamins, creams, lotions which ones ?
I need help I am desperate!
Seems a pity to miss such a good pudding.

I get it, I really do. I take estradiol 1-2mg (depending on symtoms) and a good multivitamin, a fish oil capsule, 400iu vitamin D. I try to get plenty of sleep, *try* to get some exercise, and eat healthier. It *does* help but it does take some effort.
As for the teens, I can tell you what my dh and I do: we do not tolerate the fighting and bitching and general grumpiness. We have a thresh-hold and when they reach it, things go away. We turned off their texting several months ago due to the ridiculous OTT fighting and it got immediately better--what a shock! We have taken away transportation and tv priveledges also. It helps all around to control their behavior. They can control it, they just have and excuse: "I'm on my perrriooodd"
You can also try bio-identical hormones, but they are more expensive and the gals that are on them have tried the other options before going to BIH. I do not recommend black cohosh, there are some serious concerns with it causing excessive bleeding.
Talk to your provider and sorry about the semi-epic post!

It has done wonders for me. It's available at the HFS.

It was tough when all of sudden a mood swing would hit and she would say something and then I would say something back and my poor dad would just sit there like this... and then we went to our seperate corners of the house.

I'm trying to do this not-so-pretty time without hormone replacement...I do take a minimum dose of Zoloft, which takes the edge off the emotional swings.
It's not so bad yet, but I can't deal with the irregularity of my cycles.
In any case, the boys kinda know when to stay out of my way!
Like my opinion really counts anyway...
