Hi Glendathegoodwitch - The house tour went well. A little stress getting prepared but my house is freshly painted and really clean!! With a 5 year old, 2 labs and 2 cats it won't last long though!!
Hard to believe fall is here already - it's been quite cold in MI this week but I think it's going to get warm again. I hope so!! I like fall but winter is my least favorite season - although I do love getting ready for Christmas. It is all the cold I hate!!
I have nothing special to add to my list - lots of cute new things I see though!! I'm sure I will love whatever you have chosen.
Do you have any special plans for the fall/Halloween season? I think we are going to take Max to a corn maze/pupmkin patch next weekend. I must be crazy because I offered to have a Halloween party for some of his friends. He hasn't decided if he wants to do that or not.
We have one every Christmas and then we have an annual Easter egg hunt here also. It's so cute to see all the kids having so much fun!!

Becky not only do I love my OWL! I ADORE HIM BECUZ HOW CUTE HE IS AS A WITCH! I <3<3<3<3<3 him and will keep him out all year! I don't have anything like him at all in my growing collection! Hi secretsister4lori-sounds like you went from summer to winter! Yikes 30 degrees at night is a little cold too fast for me. In my neck of the woods it is getting into the mid to upper 50's at night and it is just beautiful! So happy I can sleep with the windows open. I hope it warms up a bit for you! Hi Becky well mr owl & I are just meant to b! I love him! I will have to tell u a funny story about me and owls one day! My dr apts are bam bam bam....1st apt was my back dr my discs are a lot worse, torn, more are herniated, 1 has discinigrated and I need surgery, I didn't like that idea much so I said I'd see him & discuss more when I felt better, 2nd apt was I have bronchitis and ear infections in both ears & I need to get back with another dr for my asthma, 3rd dr yesterday was for my shoulder which hasn't recovered from surgery earlier this year, & my arm is locked up so I can't move it or raise it much I think he called it frozen shoulder syndrome, so he wants me back in 6 weeks to schedule surgery to fix that!
I really can't make this up I think it's a family curse that my Irish or Scottish ancestor ticked off an evil warlock or witch & cursed my family for generations which landed on me! My next 2 apts are tomorrow at 11 & 4:30 would u like to come with me as at this point I could really use better news. So we will see what happens. Now I have updated my personal nurse lol thank u for asking I appreciate it. I must say I am finally starting to get some umph back as the antibiotics are finally kicking in. It's the cough attacks that get me then they make my shoulder & back hurt more! So that's my update until tomorrow my personal nurse friend! Quite the comedy of the universe! How is the ankle? Are u 2 stepping yet? I'm going to the new trampoline park this weekend I think want to come? Lol yeh rt! |

I have had a fun time getting to know you & am anxious to find out who you are! Right now, I am into simple stories, echo park, prima & ranger (tim holtz stuff)... making mixed media canvases, love all types of inks, gesso, glue...love all kinds of adhesives...love making shadowboxes & printer trays...ummm...i've been making lot's of cards lately! If i were to place an order on 2peas right now, some things i would want would be...sets of kraft, dark brown, lime green & acrylic cards/envelopes...studio calico wood pieces/shapes in flowers, flourishes, buttons, cameras, clocks/ gears, hearts or stars etc...dazzles stickers, small scallop circle punch, fine white embossing powder or clear...white gel pen, 6x6 paper pads...
Also like peanut butter candy (like reeces), green apple flavor anything, spearment mints like butter mints, nuts, granola, caramels, jelly bellies...i like to scrap eating red vines! lol!

Dear Batty Buddy,
I received a most wonderful package from you. Thank you so very much, only thing you did not tell me who you were. My package is filled with Halloween papers, stickers, glitter glue, border stickers, chipboard shapes, black and white enamel accents, black foam alphabet stickers, much needed markers,Fancy flourishes stamp set, a couple mini clear stamps(so cute), I love the boo sticker with the witch flying through it, fall colored buttons and stickers, rhinestones, a journal, vellum quotes, a decorative red pail, and a decorated acrylic holder, cat and dog stickers and mini album. I probably missed some, what fun I am going to have.

Hi Erica,
So sorry its' been so long since I replied to you.
I am working crazy hours right now .. traveling about an hour and a half one way from home to a satellite office for work.
I just finished a Halloween mini-album to start putting in Halloween pictures of my son and his various costumes. So far we only have three since he is only two
How is Coca doing? My dog Mina (a boxer/terrier mix) is enjoying life with a 2 year old since he will get in the treat jar when I am not looking and give her treats along with all the food he drops when eating.
I pulled up the box I use to store all the mementos of my son to try and start putting in his album.. I got some of those BH page protectors myself.. I want to see how I like them incorporated into his baby album with regular 12x12 pages. I just have to find the time to sit dow and get started

I am going to be a farmer.. as Declan is going to be Spud this year. Since you have two sons, I am hoping you get the Bob the Builder reference. I found this great costume of a scarecrow for him.. he is so cute!
Is Caroline going to be dressing up this year? I hope she has a great time!!
I am going mum and pumpkin shopping this weekend at a local farm so that I can get my fall decorating underway.. I am trying to hold off unitl Sunday so that I am at least close to October before I start piling on Halloween

I am so sorry to hear about your uncle and friend! I will say a prayer for them and your family!
My little girl is due on October 19th so .. not quite a Halloween baby but close enough for me
My son is really getting into Halloween this year.. he is only two so this is the first year he is aware of the possibilities of candy Although I really don't give it to him, so all the candy he collects may have to mysteriously disapppear to be replaced by fruit and pudding cups.. which he loves!
I am loving our early fall weather here.. I even thought about turning the heat on.. but we have oil heat and its' so expensive that I just broke out another blanket I can't wait until next year when I convert to natural gas heat!!
I can't wait for my package... I love suprises!!
Are you decorating this year? We have some great local farms here that sell mums and pumpkins.. so I am going shopping on Saturday to find some to put out in my planters and on the front porch! I also found these great LED lanterns at TJ Maxx for Halloween that I can't wait to put out!
