Becky, I'm sorry that you're waiting on me! I made a first set that I absolutely hated, thought I was liking the second set, which also turned out to be icky. I'm redoing them again- would the girls in my group be okay with me mailing them out individually? I'm already a week behind, and I hate to hold up those that have all of their things ready to go.
When I signed up for these in August, I had no idea what a zoo my September would be. I've struggled to get things done the last couple of groups, I think I'm done for a bit after I finish up my Christmas tags... so sorry, girls! |

Kate,
I am going to swap out the first of next week with what I have. So if you can get it to me by then I will swap out with the group. Kayleesmomma has mailed and I have not gotten a response from tessiepea this week.
My intent is to swap out over the week-end if times permits and the first of next week and mail out on Wednesday. I have a conference at my church over the week-end(Friday-Sunday), my daughter in Dallas is coming in for a quick visit on Sunday, so that lives the first of the week to swap and mail.
Whatever I here then will be swapped and mailed at that time. I want to get this done prior to going back to work on Friday next week. |

I need to vent:
I find it frustrating when people sign up for every group or 90% of the group and then do not follow through. I understand life happens. Why can't people just let the hostess know so she can find an angel.....Just saying....

I not sure what happened either. I am so sorry . I swapped this large swap out as carefully as i could. Hopefully someone will realize they had extra and mail to you. This is the first time this has ever happened.
I wrote down on a piece of paper and taped to each persons box what each sent in and marked them off as i swapped each out. I was trying to be as careful as i could

It's not that big of a deal Becky. I was just confused when I saw my whole bag of black flowers in the box. I had to go back and make sure I hadn't made something I wasn't signed up in a group for LOL.
Proserpina I'm like you I definitely don't mind a little constructive criticism
I thought it was interesting that in the vintage flower category that we all seemed to go with a black theme. I made the glimmer misted hymnal flowers. I really liked those. My favorite thing I made for this swap though was the paper feathers. I made the ones out of the hymnals with the gold tulle bows.

Remember Tessiepea flaked and I had several that I didn't realize didn't send in all of there's. One in particular was in several spots in several groups and she only sent in 1 set.

Ok Becky I figured out what happened with the black flowers, when I looked at my stuff more tonight. I was in the black category and made a black and silver flower for it and I was also in the vintage category and my flower was a hymnal flower edged in black with pearl glimmer mist. The vintage got swapped out in the black category. That's how I ended up with all my black flowers back and no vintage flowers. It's ok though this was a huge swap!
Ladies that were in the flower category what did you use to cut out your flowers? If you used a cricut what cartridges did you use? Tia | |

I received my package and WOW I love them! I am a big flower embellie girl! These are all lovely! I love the feathers.
Renee, I did different stuff with mine. Some I hand cut (orange lollipop flower polka dot) some I cut from Sizzix Big Shot (red, black and white) I layered pinwheels (blue group) I hand rolled the roses in the yellow, vintage and ivory groups. The green group I used nesting punches and fringed with scissors. The white group I used a SU petal punch. Lol. I got bored and tried different techniques. |

I only have the 8 clips that I am suppose to have for Christmas and Back to school. But since we had flakers I do have an extra of the clips that I made. I would be happy to send those to the person that didn't get there paper clips. Let me know if this would help!! |

I did have problems with swapping out some of these. Most people marked each one, but there were a few I had to guess at which group theyr went in. I did my best to figure it out. I appreciate everyone being so understanding. This was a huge swap although I have actually done bigger.
I remember one that was an embellishment swap I did on another board. It have 10 colors with 20 embellies in each color. I still remeber sitting on my living room floor swapping out this. It took forever. I never did one that big again. We got great variety of embellies back...brads ribbons, paper clips, die cuts, you name it we swapped it!!
This one took my 3 days and I took about 4 hours each time to do....I didn't mind doing it...but it can be time consuming....lol!!! |

Becky it is OK I am not worried about it. I did mark my bags but I totally understand how those flowers could make it into the wrong group. They were vintage black and white after all! I'm actually going to take my extras to my Monday night crop. The ladies will enjoy. I can not even fathom how much work goes into swapping all these out. I would love to do an embelly swap like you mentioned. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this swap
