9/20 - It seems we have had a lot of late shippers and delayed swaps on the board as of late. Because of the specific holiday these are for and the fact that I will need time to bind them. I just wanted to stress how important that these are shipped on time. These are due to me by Nov 5. Please plan accordingly.
If you feel you can not full fill the swap, please let me know asap and I will angel the spots. It does not make you a flaker if you have to step down, but it does make you a flaker if you don't notify myself and the rest of the people we are swapping with.
Hope this doesn't sound harsh or b#$^&y but I just wanted to put this out there.
So I have the go ahead from our amazing hostess of our current twinchie swap, Crycket, to get this one started!
8/15 - Just opened a 4th group. This will be the last one that I open up. So if you have been lurking, jump on in!
8/14 - I have opened a 2nd group. It occurred to me that I forgot to include shipping info. Standard shipping, include $ or postage to cover the return trip. Since Utah tends to be super wet and snowy by November, place these in a ziploc bag or some other type of protective cover to ensure that they don't get wet.
I am super excited about this swap! I have been pondering what to host next for awhile now and this seemed like a good one.
For this swap we will be creating a December Daily album/journal. The journal will run from Dec 1st to Dec 24th. So that each day you can include items or photos of that day and have a spot to write a little bit about the events of the day. The front cover is going to be left blank so that you can deck it out to your taste.
As part of participating in this swap with me I will be binding these for you before I mail them back. That way you can start right on them. I will be binding them like this one. with two jump rings. That way you can easily open them and add to the journal (extra pages, invites, cards, photos, tags, etc)

The details:
- You will make 12 identical 5x6.5 PORTRAIT pages. Leave 1/2 inch on the side undecorated for binding purposes.The base needs to good quality heavy cardstock.
- Each side needs to be decorated. Please include the days you signed up for somewhere on the page. (So if you took 4th and 5th, the front side would need to include 4th on it and the back side would need to have December 5th on it) It doesn't need to be in a date format - just clear what the day is.
- Each side needs to include somewhere to jounral. It does not need to be huge, just enough for a couple of lines at least. This can be a journal spot, a tag, a pull/fold out, whatever you would like.
- Please stick primarily with traditional Christmas colors of red, green, white, black, brown.
- Each side should be embellished at least 3 times. But the more the better.
- Each side needs to include at least one pocket, fold out, tag, pull out, envelope, etc.
- Be sure to leave space so photos, mementos, etc can be added to the page.
Layers are highly encouraged! 
Somethings I am looking forward to adding are my annual cookie party invite, the program from my kids school events, the tickets to my sons viola concert, pieces of the wrapping paper I buy for gifts, one of the Christmas cards I mail out each year, the recipe to the cookies the kids and I make every year, the receipt from Christmas shopping, pics from our yearly visit to temple square.
These are due in my hands on November 5 NO EXCEPTIONS!!. That is over 2 1/2 months away, giving you plenty of time to complete these. I will be binding them and mailing them back by November 10th so that you will have them in plenty of time to finish the cover before December.

Jeanette - It can be made from whatever you would like as long as it is at least heavy cardstock. Acrylic would be so cute! as for the size 5x6.5 is the size, but tabs, ribbon or anything else that would hang over the side/top/bottom would be fun to as some depth to it. |

This might be a silly question, but don't most December Daily albums go through the end of the month? At least to the 25th? Since you have a lot of interest in your swap, maybe we could make the album a little bigger? I know that would mean we would all have to make more pages, but once we have our page layout, actually constructing the pages isn't difficult. Just a thought. Either way, it will be awesome. | |

I guess it is more of a Christmas daily album. So something to document all the fun activities that you do leading up to Christmas. Originally I was going to do through the 25th. But I couldn't make it work for the swap. I figured, if people wanted, they could add the 25th. I do a mini album that is just for Christmas day each year.
I have added a second group. So please be sure to label your bag with your group. I will probably take a second spot and use this as either a gift or save it for next year.

I think I have everyone in the right spot, will you all please double check? I put Becky where Kate was and traded Mariposas (what's your real name?) and Lissa places.
The 24th is a combined spot with the 1st since the cover will be left blank and the back cover will be just cute Christmas paper.
I decided to not put the 25th in since I could not make it work logistically with the swap and since most people would probably want more than just a page for the 25th. I do several pages in our family album for Christmas and a mini album for each year.
Since they will be bound with the jump rings, you can add to it with more pages if you would like
amykatea - I would not bind them if you would like, but we are full right now.
Is there anyone else who does not want them bound?
If I have more interest, I would be willing to open a 3rd group. Would anyone else like a spot?
